I can't even think up fun conspiracy theories to make fun of this. I can't believe people really believe that they'd turn the webcam off on purpose.

Wow 60,000 people on a saturday, isn't that more than attend to superbowl >:)

Shoot the rapids, tame and dry. Thunder Canyon, wet and laughter. Snake River Falls, soaked and smiling. White Water Landing and the old shoot the rapids, Fun and missed.

65,000 is the capacity of Ford Field, which is where the Superbowl was hosted in 2006.

The Louisiana Superdome houses 73,000.

Michigan Stadium houses like 110,000. They all got to see Wisconsin get beat today. :)

Just some perspective.

Yeah, it's not like Appalachian State was in the house.

I went to the park Friday night, and noticed several additions to Terror Island. I felt that these additions really helped with the pirate theme. I noticed there were lots of gun battles going off on the island, im not sure where but you could definitely hear them and the cannons going off. It really helped enhance the experience alot compared to the first Friday of halloweekends when there wasn't any of that going on. I also noticed that the screamsters were really getting into their charachter this time.

Nothing was added to the Island, just rearranged.

There's a difference between stuff being there, and stuff being turned on.

It also helps when the TL remembers to tell people the buttons that activate those things exist.... :)

And being able to walk through the place during the day, before we open, yeah I'm pretty sure I know what I'm talking about. We did add a few more things that have fallen around the Island from Millenium, so sure, things were added.

Just thought I'd throw this in here, Halloweekends is fantastic this year! I'm pretty impressed with what Cedar Point has done to improve this years Halloweekends. I'm also proud to be a Screamster in one of the best scare zones there... Terror Island. Hope everyone has been enjoying themselves and having a spooktacular time! Hope to scare you soon!!! HAHA (evil laugh!)

It was really fun when I got to march in the parade with the costumed kids! I've always wanted to be in a parade as a kid, but never got the chance. Now being in one at CP with kids was pretty cool :) As for noticing things around in the scare zones, I am too busy walking in fog and being scared by screamsters to notice everything that's moved or changed. It all is still a scare zone, and it's still fun no matter what.

What happened to the Halloween music this year. I've heard Thriller a few times and some instrumental music in Fright Zone that's all. I haven't heard Werewolves of London, The Blob, Rock Lobster, Monster Mash, etc. on the midways. I've been to HW 5 times and pay attention to the music. Unless they started playing those song since last Friday.

It sounds like things are going great!! Did somebody make the mermaids walk the plank? Have they been better?

Ok, if you actually think about the use of a plank, and the end result of making someone walk it. Why would you put mermaids on it? That is an oxymoron. It would be funny to watch though.

^^ - if they have been ride-prides every weekend, it is impossible for them to be "better" because it is never the same people from weekend to weekend.

The first weekend is the only weekend any of them were ride prides. There are two regular mermaids who have been doing a really good job in my opinion.
