You definitely won't be stuck in housing... because more than anything you'll be working.

It was always fun coming home from work and having wall to wall people partying in my apartment. Some of my roomates in the past have gotten in ridiculous amounts of beer packing the refrigerator wall to wall. Nothing like coming home from work and taking a beer bong. Especially nice change after a rough day at work.
On the other hand, I've seen plenty of people do stupid stuff after a few too many for them. Don't buy yourself a writeup or a pink slip. Drinking is fun, but not worth losing your job over.
Don't believe all the people who are being babies.
You WILL have fun.
There WILL be parties.
People DO get fired, on occasion, but for good reasons.
Anyone who pretends ridiculous amounts of partying DOESN'T go on is lying.
You just have to manage what you do. I am not the "partying" type, so when I was there, I didn't ever partake in the drunken-ness that is typical of many CP employees.
You work, but you also have fun. Just keep the balance. : )
Jenny, I don't think you'll get much help on here with "partying" suggestions. I too am interested in having a good time while I'm at CP and have asked similar questions. However, from what I've gathered most of the people who post on here seem like the cookies and kool-aid type. I know a few people that have worked at CP and they were all partiers. They all told me to be prepared for the best summer of my life. Good luck, Jenny!

Otherwise known as the mature type who can manage to have fun without binge drinking? Different strokes, I guess.
There's nothing wrong with going to a party, having some drinks, and relaxing with your friends. But there seems to be some people (not necessarily anyone here) who take that to entirely different level, and then shoot for nothing else. Honestly, you'd think that lifestyle would get old eventually. That sounds a lot more boring that cookies and Kool-aid!

As others have said, with that attitude you won't last too long with the CP cops. From what I hear they are constantly patrolling the housing. So whatever you do, don't get too crazy, haha.
