I don't like the new location of that web cam, now you can't see anything. Before you could at least see inside the station to tell if it was running.
What? Are you kidding me? You could barely tell if there were train moving or people in the station in the old position! Now I can see trains, people and ride operators in the station.

I'll be there the week of June 15th also and I'm hoping that it's up then.
I'll also be at CP during the week of June 15th. The second half of it anyway (19, 20, 21, and 22). And I'm also hoping that TTD is up and running by then.

Florida may have Disney World and Key West,
but Ohio has Cedar Point and Put-In-Bay.
It's great to live in Ohio!

...........................Many people have ridden this ride and know it is great, CP will fix this problem in a timely manor..........they fix the problem, safely and quickly. MFers cable snapped in 2000 i believe no biggie it is still there and they had to go up 310 feet in the air!
So the only thing i got wrong was the cable on MFer broke in 2001?

The tow ropes run through channels outboard of the launch sled. The return rope runs through a conduit for most of the length of the launch track. The return rope is exposed as it goes around the idler wheel beneath the launch track (which is surrounded by a steel cage) and as it trails behind the launch sled. The two tow ropes are exposed only as they go through the guide sheaves on either side of the track at the end of the launch. Otherwise, the wire ropes are almost totally enclosed, meaning when the rope breaks it really can't get loose.
