Joe Cool Cafe has medium (8 slice) Pizza Hut Pan pizza for about $13.50. Toppings are about $1.50 or$1.99. They also have the Pizza Hut specialty pizzas for under $20. I don't know if you can order then for take out. I can't see why not.
I was just trying to compare apples to apples. You brought up a $5 footlong sub selling in the park for $15. I brought up a $5 pizza selling at another entertainment venue for $14. Not saying it's right or wrong, just playing devil's advocate again....
My last post was more a bit of information in response to Crazy Horse' comments on the Tigers pizza being $11 less than CP Pizza. I imagine he was thinking about Pizza Patio. I'm just mentioning that Joe Cool has pizza for less as an option. Playing Devil's advocate is cool.

Yea, but at a theater(at least the one I go to), has free refills on soda and popcorn.
Most theaters now offer only 1 free refill and charge for anything over that.
Not the ones I go to. Celebration gives you a cup at the counter and sends you to a bank of pop fountains. Fill your own. And there is no refill Nazi standing there checking that you've only refilled once.

Hmmm...they are only spending $10,000,000 on a ride on the 3rd year after building a good one....keep getting those free waters...I'm sure that will inspire them to do more.
Comparing what McDonald's charges or Subways or any other place out of the park charges doesn't fly...If you don't like what McDonalds is charging, just go to the next restaurant on the block. As far as movie theaters giving refills, think about how much time you spend there. Most people aren't there for more than 2 hours so how many refills are they actually going to get? And let's not forget that most places outside of amusement parks aren't EXPECTED by their customers to spend $25,000,000 every 3 or so years.
I was at the park today and saw water cups get handed out a couple times. They were not that small. I would guess about 16 oz.
I was at Darien Lake last weekend, and they don't hand out free water. They directed me to the water fountains or told me to buy a bottle. I really don't mind the mini cups so much, because they could be like Darien Lake. CP just has better customer service that way.

I was at the park today and I went to two different snack areas and today I got the small Pepsi cup of water! It was a bonus.....
Life is like a rollercoaster! It is full of ups and downs
I got the tiny water cups last Wed., and it was kind of annoying, as it provided 3 sips for my fries.
Anyone know if you could simply ask for a free larger cup and fill it yourself at a drinking fountain? I know they always gave us free normal-sized cups many years ago, but I'm guessing it may be against CP policy now?
It depends where you go. I went to Cp last Sunday and some places gave out dixie cups and others gave me the pepsi cups.
Let's Get Weird.
I doubt that they will give you one of the cups they use for pop for free. I think they keep track of the number of those cups for sales record purposes.
I bring my own water bottle (similar to those they sell at the stands) to CP. I used to ask for the free water cups. Once after the change to smaller cups I asked for 4 cups, the girl told me forget the cups, she'd just refill my bottle. I never knew you could just have your own bottle refilled. Now I do that all of the time. Most of the stands will refill your water bottle for you if you remove your cap. I did have one that only gave me small cup.
I was there on Friday and they gave me a clear plastic cup that was about the same size as the Pepsi cups.
I was there yesterday, and asked for a ice water at the grandstand refreshments. When I was handed a tiny little cup, I just asked for a few more. I ended up with 4 cups of water.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Im sorry but this thread is rediculous. At my college, if I want free water with my meal, I get a 6 ounce dixie cup to pour it into. Often, this is enough water, and I never have to refill more than once. On the other hand, everyday I take one water bottle with me, and if I drink all of that I can refill it at any water fountain on campus.
The last CP trip I took was great. We did get free water from the concession stands specifically asking for more ice than water. This way we could use one cup to have four or five cups of ice water by refilling the cup at water fountains.
25 cent cotten candy one year, free ice water another year--- what do you expect, especially when spending is down across the nation.
I agree. I get the origin of the water cup-related frustration (CP's generally ridonkulous food pricing and barely-edible quality), but I find it morbidly amusing that people have been bitching about free anything for 13 pages. With nonsense like this, its no wonder CP doesn't get the message that their concession value system is so out of whack. If people will whine about something they're getting for free, they'll whine no matter what.
