According to the 1985 park guide Berenstain Bear Country opened in Earthquake's building, so it appears 1984 was the last season of Earthquake.

Chaos used to be in the "Thrill Rides" section of the Cedar Point website, but it's now gone... I think Chaos will disappear over the winter...

Seemed to me Chaos had a pretty "down" season. I know it wasn't open for the first few weeks of operation, and now it sounds like it's done for the year.
I think CP is throwing in the towel on this ride, whether or not they have a buyer.

I doubt that any park would buy a Chaos now, they have proved to be just too problematic, not even taking into consideration the incident at Michigan's Adventure.

Disappointingly, it was down on the 23rd. I always liked that ride; it had some intensity but not so much as to ruin the fun.
I say put it's giant sign up for charity auction. It will look nice in my basement between the USGS report on the soil beneth Magnum and the green Millenium Force car I pulled from the lake.

Since Cedar Point closed, I know they're dismantling Ocean Motion, but is Chaos getting dismantled as well? Does anyone know or have a link to what's going on?
