Cedar Point's 2011 ride will target thrill seekers

I think Kings Dominion would probably say it's one now. Replacing two train sets of wheels almost daily, probably costs them a huge sum of money.

I-305 just makes me respect Millennium a lot more. I-305 has been slowed down to what? under 80 mph now? Just goes to show how fine of a line Millennium walked to not push it too much, but deliver.

To be honest I cant feel The trim brakes on Maverick. The Mavericks amazing. And I hope Cedar Point creates another coaster like maverick. Small but can still pack a big punch.

I can't feel them either. And when I ride it, I don't even pay attention to it.

And it's almost August - can't wait!

Wait haha where are the trims?

Same with me. And so am I. I hope(even though they probally wont) get a flying coaster. The could make it like Tatsu and make it high above the ground. It would be cool if they named it The Great White and made it 181 feet with 5 inversions.

The trims are just over the top of the banking hill after coming out of the tunnel. You know, right before the heartline roll.

Oh I thought those were supposed to be there. Stupid moment on my behalf.

They are supposed to be there... They are there so your head doesn't snap off your nexk going through the dive turns.

Okay dude you are taking everything to literally. I didn't mean I am so stupid that I didn't know trims were supposed to be there. I meant I have never noticed them because they fit in so perfectly with the ride.

^How do they fit perfectly with the ride? Elaborate a bit.

They fit in perfectly with the ride meaning unlike most trims they are not a jerky sudden slow down at a weird point in the ride. They are a smooth gradual deceleration, and they are at a point that isn't out of place.

I wish Beast's trims weren't noticeable. :)

Sit in the back of the train. It helps. :)

I just looked at a starflyer I think that would be a good ride for 2011.

I do agree with that. Also, since the owner said that "It's going to bring back a lot of memories for people that follow Cedar Point," so would it be possible that they may recreate an old coaster (Cylcone, Jumbo Jet, etc.)
Also, the stake posted on their blog is near the pirate ship ride, so I'm leaning more towards a wooden ride similar to the Cyclone near the beach. Sorry if someone said this previously, but I didn't want to go through all the pages of this thread lol

On second thought let's not go to Six Flags, 'tis a silly place.
