"Cedar Point is building for the future!"

In reguards to the so-called construction behing WT, that may be for the re-construction they may have to do on WT when it closes. Apparently, the support structure is having problems. The so-called footers on the beach may be for extra WT supports. Just speculation...

Where are the footers on the beach? I haven't been in 2 weeks. Are they right along side the Wicked Twister?

When did anyone say anything about footers on the beach?? I thought they were back by the Magnum and Gemini. As for the signs meaning it will be something big, and that they never started construction so early....I think the construction on VertiGo started pretty early in the season, with no signs or anything.

Anybody get the idea to call the Sandusky dpw or city hall to see if they even have a issued building permit and for what it would be? just an idea.I'll be at the point next week and this so called"area 51"is located by magnum.Cuz i am going to take the digital camera and snap some pics..

I would like to introduce myself. I am bbk2k and this is my first post and I am glad to be here. I sincerely love Cedar Point and am also curious as to what is going to be built for next year. To me, this park is always on the cutting edge of new thrills, so I can imagine that no matter what the new ride will be, I can expect something spectacular. As far as rumors go, they are fun to read, but personally, I will wait for the official announcement. CP Rocks!

Oh, and I think the question of the year should be, "What are they building behind that wall?" For some reason, everyone wants to know ;)

Try the Tops grocery store on Milan Road (route 250). Turn in after the McDonalds on the east side of the road just past the mall (assuming you are going south to north on 250). The Tops store is in that plaza just past the K-Mart.

If anyone else knows the specifics, correct me if I am wrong, but I believe you can get $5.00 off a weekend ticket and $10.00 off a weekday ticket there. I have a pass myself, but I plan to go there to get tickets for any family/friends who visit and want to go to CP.

Any Meijer in Ohio has $10 off weekday and $5 off weekend tix.

If ya don't know Meijer is a gigantic department store grocery store combo. The original of all stores like Wal Mart supercenters or Super K Mart.

Anyway there is one on 250 on the way to the park.
