"Cedar Point is building for the future!"

LOL! I'll be there...I'm under 18, and I'll press charges if you touch me...I'll just stay out in the addition drive so you can't charge me for trespassing...:)

True, but I think that Check It has a good idea. If this was planned as a big milestone as the turn of the millennium was, perhaps CP was already planning on having a huge coaster to commemorate the bicentennial pf Ohio several years in advance, and not just the normal 2. Playing off of the bicentennial would be a good marketing scheme.

There's a blue tarp in Area 51 that is believed to be another footer.

I'm still not understanding why everyone is saying there "might" be a big block of concrete there. Countless people saw it while riding Gemini on opening day and if you look now from one of the benches at the side of the fence by Camp Snoopy you can see some concrete under it. Do I have to take pictures to prove it?

The closest I'll ever get to riding a B&M Flyer is looking down while on Raptor... :(

Hmm... Raging Ohio anyone? :P LOL.
Ok wow, now I am confused. Are there two or three footers located in Area 51?

Wait a minute, what if the attraction is called "For the future!"? They came right out and said it: "Cedar Point is building 'for the future.'" Who knows?

Six Flags better than Cedar Point? I'll believe it when Raging Wolf Bobs flies...

Has anyone considered that the future actually entails a pretty long period of time-not necessarily next year? I don't remember CP ever quite phrasing construction hints like that, but they have never really done anything this early either. Just a thought though.

Also, a real conspiracy theory-with the construction or whatever is going on near the Boardwalk project-think the two projects are the same ride-if it is a ride? It'd sure would be a big'un. Uh oh, I think I hear the black helicopters overhead.

what construction is going on near the boardwalk project? and what is the boardwalk project? i thought tha didnt exist

You know people are getting desperate when they read into the phrase on the construction sign...

Say it isn't so Jeff! The King of Grammar just misused the word beated(beaten). lol

Back to the topic at hand, Cedar Point will announce something this year, it says so right on the wall.

Wow you guys!
All this endless speculaton really wants me to get a pillow. In all honesty, how do we even know what CP is up to? For all we know they could be building the world's largest Bathroom/Dippin Dots facility-- Bathroom drive thru- "Park it" and order

In the end, we just really do not know what is going to happen. Let the CP wizards work their magic, and in time maybe we will have something new to investigate.

By the way, I am a member on Coasterbuzz and I just joined Guide To The Point. My name is Sean, nice to meet you all :-)!

Delayja Vu at SFGAM...I FINALLY got to ride it....with little breakdown...that must be a miracle.....

Sean, when's the last time Cedar Point let the public know with a nice big sign that they're building bathrooms for the future?

It's something will enjoy, that's for sure.

My prediction: Going to be something huge, either Intamin Or B&M. A Record breaker.

If intamin, i am guessing a 250-300 foot rocket coaster, 100+ MPH.

If B&M, a flyer with record breaking # of inversions. Very fast, very tall.

Or maybe it will be something totally different, something we have never seen before.

How can you not read into the phrase on the sign-it's there and it's the only thing other than the footers that is concrete from CP about this thing.

Who wants to to hear the name "Bicentennial Force"?

I know I do! :-)

I am still the Geminazi!

rawr!

Ummm...technically, any sort of construction at the Point could warrant a sign exactly like the ones posted, so in some far-off reality it could be a bathroom facility...;)
