For example: Power Tower then VertiGo
I'm liking the connections even better every day ;)

June 28th: LocoBazooka Tour (Sevendust headlining)
July 11th: Korn, Puddle of Mudd, and Deadsy
However, I'm still happy with the 310 foot monster that I got to ride this weekend - front seat 11:00 at night ;)
Then there's the blue tarp in my garage... God knows whats under that ;)

Ugh, these doubters, they just keep talking...
OOOO! Here's my newest idea. Think of this. A 450ft tall Topspin.

Why does everybody think they are getting a coaster when they JUST built Wicked Twister?
Recent history doesn't always dictate patterns for the future - especially in this industry.

Why does everybody think they are getting a coaster when they JUST built Wicked Twister? I am very confused with this reasoning.
If you use that reasoning, then why did CP build WT when they just did MF? WT was announced after MF's second season, and CP and Intamin were probably in talks during that entire season.
Same can be said for Mantis after Raptor had opened.

Argue all you want, but Intamin uses lesser quality products and sometimes tries to do more than they can reliably. Just ask CP maintenance sometime what they think. -Allan

Do I agree that Intamins seem to have reliability problems? Yes. Do I agree that it is because of bad steel or cables? Hell no! The majority of downtime (WT aside for a sec) is probably caused by computer issues. Newer rides have more sensors, and this more places they can screw up and cause downtime. As for your B&M reliability theory, it went out the window on July 11 when Raptor was up and down several times throughout the afternoon because the computer was shutting down the ride. Asking CP maintenance is pointless because 90% of their "fixes" involves nothing more than resetting a ride and running a few test trains. Are there instances when track cracks, wheels go bad, chains break, etc - of course! But I'd be willing to bet that most downtime on the majority of modern rides is computer related.
