"Cedar Point is building for the future!"

I hope they build a somthing like Face Off at PKI. I like that coaster....

~*kP

I don't really know what to expect. They only have three coasters out of there fifteen that actually have inversions. I wouldnt mind seeing some loops, from a B&M flyer. But I wouldnt be complaining if they did get an Intamin "rocket" coaster or a S&S thrust air, that would be fine. I dont think we'll be seeing a CCI this time around, not enough footers in place. But, whatever they do, im sure its going to be awsome.

Someday's it's just not worth chewing through the restrains.

Well....maybe they could add a Intamin Rocket Coaster with a vertical loop? Thats possible, right? It would have to be one big loop but its possible.
Yep Magnum Force that would attrack a lot of attention. Now since i heard one of the Deja Vu rides valley i think a woodie would be nice. One like Son Of The Beast at PKI. DragonIOC that coaster would be a coaster with an inversion right. But im also gonna stick with these 4ideas.
1. Floorless Coaster
2. B@M Flyer
3. Worlds Largest Floorless Cheese On A Stick Stand. Right Magnum.
4. A coaster like the Hulk at Universal Studios Florida.

I'm still sticking with the high capacity giant ride from Huss.

I'd rather die living than live like I'm dead

I was thinking that Cedar Point and Intamin could make this everything that Millennium Force and WT aren't. They could have inverted tophats like Xcelerator, lots of airtime hills, and inversions. This could be a big coaster with many different inclusive elements...then it just could be a flat too...

June 28th: LocoBazooka Tour (Sevendust headlining)
July 11th: Korn, Puddle of Mudd, and sy

Okay, so I had a dream last night, and I saw the new ride! The thing was, the track was like a TA2K, but the support structure looked like Xcelerator. The whole thing was white. And Cedar Point had gotten a new log flume ride, as well. Oh, and? I was being pursued by the ape army from Planet of the Apes. But that's all I remember.
Maybe they will build another fifties-themed restaurant. I just can't get enough milkshakes and fries!

I would really like a Chinese food place at the park. If I could have anything put into Cedar Point, that would probably be it. (And I am sure I am the only one too. lol.)

I am still the Geminazi!

rawr!

First off, dreaming about Cedar Point is a little, well, odd... :) Mine actually involved Katie Holmes in some... Oh God, I've gone too far.

I have a sneaking suspicion that it will be something we've seen at another Cedar Fair park, (a coaster or not) but not Xcelerator for some reason. I think that Cedar Fair's relationship w/ Intamin is a bit strained, but I'm not sure. Besides, if there was a theoretical 3 coaster deal (remember the B&M one?), WT would have been the third.

That said, I have no factual evidence to support either claim.

Then again, I think it will be something with a small footprint, and until I heard about Arrow's supposed demise, I would have thought about an ArrowBatic inverted wild mouse ride.

I would still like a "CP version" of a Wild Mouse. 100 feet tall, lots of hairpin turns, that would almost tip you out, banked outward........I used to love the old rickety steel mouses from the 50's.
Well another rummor that I heard was a Vekoma flying coaster in that spot, and not a B&M flyer. Thats not likely, considering the whole Deja Vu/Six Flags affair, I think we can rule out a Vekoma or Arrow. I would love to se a B&M, and a CCI in the spot of Mean Streak. Thats right, it means they would have to get rid of the coaster.
I think that Monty should try to fix Mean Streak. that is a great ride and deserves to be at its best again. Some people might disagree with me but o well that my opinion.
I think a lot of people think CCI should retrack Mean Streak. Its one of the best looking wooden coasters, but it has a lot of problems with the trims everywhere. I don't think Cedar Point is getting a Vekoma flying coaster, I like Vekoma and hope they do better in the next couple years, but I always hear of X-Flight only running one train.
I think that one train operation is the parks decision. Whether it is more cost efficient, or if they are understaffed (there were 3 people working the ride when I was there) we will never know.

Vekoma was very innovative coming up with the rotating track dual-station design to increase capacity... it's too bad it is not utilized...

I cannot see CP getting a Vekoma flier, not their style, same price as B&M and not as smooth. I agree with many though that is a good location for a flier (although I am really hoping for an Intamin Rocket coaster.)

hmmm.,.I do remember someone mentioning that Dick was interested in the Rockin' Roller Coaster at Disney, which is from Vekoma. So, Vekoma may not be out of the question, although I believe Dick passed up Vekoma as soon as he discovered Intamin. That's my opinion.
A Premier ride would solve the Vekoma problem of Rockin Roller Coaster. Maybe Intamin could make their own spaghetti bowl. Who knows.

Welcome back Magnum riders how was your ride?

Why would you want that. That sounds like a smaller slower version of millennium force. Why not get something completely different?
My opinion: Take the size of the cleared land, and CP's little Make up world records idea with WT, and the fact that they dont build many prototype coasters and what do you get?

Answer: The worlds tallest Half-Pipe roller coaster. (200+ feet) (No this isnt a bobsled style ride they mention it on the intamin website and the first one is being installed in a park in finland, right next to an intamin inverted coaster called tornado)

This is just a wild guess/wish though.

Find a video of an Intamin halfpipe at

------------------
Hypersonic XLC- 17 seconds of ride....only 1.8 of which are worth a 3 hour wait.

We could see a woodie in the next couple of years though (fingers crossed), since Miears left, he wouldn't have a wooden coaster built while he was there.

Hey, that halfpipe coaster is pretty neat. I don't see it coming to CP though. Too much like WT if you ask me. I think it would be fun to ride though! :)
