I have high hopes for a Dive Machine. I feel like they are the only B&M's that use a smaller footprint.

I think a giga dive machine would be awesome but no way is it happening.

Am I the only one that wants a wooden coaster that delivers like The Voyage and El Toro? :). Enough with the steel already, especially over by the beach.

A killer layout, with it ripping in and out of its structure multiple times, extremely banked turns, airtime hills galore, and doesn't slow down until you hit the brake run and all you can say is Holy $&@!

Damn, where's the wife when you need her...;)

JW, I would love to see a good woody too, I also would love to see anything else too. Any thrilling coaster would make me happy!

I am kind of sick of steel at CP... My vote is for a GCI twister. That would be my dream at CP :)

I figured the clamor for B&M dive machines would die down as they have aged/become more prevalent.

Im all for a good GCI. But if I had a choice, I would just prefer a new b&m.

So what's going on with the green track pieces? Do we know what / where those are going to?

How are they more prevalent? There's only 7 in the world and of those, only 2 are in the U.S.

Coaster Lady, I dont believe anything has been 100% confirmed. It has been said that they are Wing Coaster track pieces and I believe that there is a picture with a label to prove that. We do not know where they are headed though.

I've seen the pictures, but I haven't heard / seen anything about it since those were put up....so I wasn't sure if anything had developed since then.

It's tough to wish for a wooden coaster after we've seen how rough MS has gotten over the years.

Cedar Fair's Worlds of Fun has a wooden coaster called Prowler that's just plain amazing. I'm pretty sure it's just a wooden base but it's a great ride. I think something like that would be a good addition...although I would prefer a dive or flying coaster...

^^ A flyer would be great but when I went on Manta in Sea Wolrd in Florida, the loading times were pretty slow. Although, they were not as bad as Fire Hawk down at KI.

I have not heard anything either. The only thing that makes me believe that those green pieces are not for Cedar Point is because they are green. I know this might sound like a dumb reason, but I just don't think Cedar Point would have two coasters, both being from B&M, the same color. I can maybe see it happening if the new coaster was from a different company, like Intamin, and it was green. But not both from B&M.

I agree - especially if people think it's going over by DT. There's no way they would put those two next to each other. If it turns out it's going to CP, then I'd guess it was going in the back of the park.

I would think we would know its a wooden coaster much earlier. It seems like wooden coasters would be extremely hard to build in the winter and would have to be completed by November/December.

Yeah a Flyer like Manta at Sea World would be awesome, love that ride, when I went they were actually loading in and out pretty quick both days I went, but then again it wasn't that busy so it may have just seemed like they did it quick, but for sure yes, much quicker than Firehawk.

Maverick00, Mean Streak was started at the end of the 1990 season and was built over the winter, ready for opening day in 1991.

However, the off-season was longer then as it was before we had Halloweekends to deal with.

Am I mistaken or did Kinzel once say he was not interested in building a wooden coaster at Cedar Point? Or was that Decker? Or am I just thinking that up?
