What, you like that better than the vinyl circus tents? :)

Well, it is the Register, but I'm surprised a newspaper would use a camera with that much lens distortion. It looks like they just used a cheap point and shoot. There is some post processing they could have done in Photoshop, but I guess it is too much trouble for them (if they even have the program).
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
So, those who saw the newly renovated Hotel Breakers, what did you think? My opinion is that it is absolutely spectacular! The mix of contemporary and classic is exactly what I imagine Cedar Point to look like.
I don't know if this has been talked about, but did anybody notice the Beach Shack on the boardwalk outside of the rotunda? IIRC, (and I might be wrong), but this building used to be a place to get towels for the beach or something like that. I wonder what the plans are for it now, or if they are going to continue using it for the same thing?
Hotel lobby was gorgeous and felt air conditioned finally. The 2 horses inside were very neat. One of the first noticeable differences was the relocation and expansion of the front desk area. We checked out the firepits outside with the carousel horses on the tops of them. Very nice touch. Saw the Starbucks inside the hotel but didn't go inside. The inside Rotunda looked awesome. The rain certainly put a damper on things in the evening, felt bad for the kids that were supposed to have their prom @ 7:30 by the newly built Lakeside Pavilion. BTW, that new structure is simply magnificent and the fountain with the 3 little Woodstocks was a nice added feature.
