Bon Aire section and other exterior changes to Hotel Breakers

Yes there are changes to the outdoor pool. It is in the information about all the renovations and changes.

I saw the new activity pool listed in the information but I didn't see anything about the east pool, what information did you read?

Yeah, what Pete said. I only see stuff about the new kiddie area. I did see something about new deck furniture. Maybe that is what he is talking about. It's disappointing that the hot tub in front of the rotunda is done since it was huge and had a lot of character. The hot tub in east is quite small. I think I read though a new hot tub will be going in the kiddie area.

I've never been in the indoor pool area, is there a hot tub in there?

I'm still banking on an outside tiki bar at Breakers East pool where the big mushroom fountain thing is. But, that's none of my business ;)

Yeah there is a hot tub at the indoor pool. Roughly the same size as the one at the east pool. Not really much of a hot tub. None of the tubs had very good jets. 1 jet per person. Noticed that in the hot tub by the rotunda some of the jets were inappropriately placed as to where if you sat with proper posture the jet was positioned to massage your butthole.

Just a random question: To those who have watched the webcam of Hotel Breakers, has anybody else noticed an expansion to the connector from the hotel lobby to Breakers East? Or has it always been that large?

It has definitely been expanded.

Any true conformation as to what will become of the cleared land where Bon Air used to be?

They completely demolished that connection and were even driving trucks through the area at one point. What you see now is entirely new.

That connector is completely new. If you were watching throughout the offseason, the connector was completely removed and a new area was built.

What do you think the rooms in the rotunda will be like? Some of them seem pretty small that are $260 a night.

Looks like this is coming along on the webcams. They removed alot of the plastic tarps. And I can see they put down new concrete for the sidewalk near the car port.

It looks like the Hotel Breakers band has a name now, the Toes in the Sand Band, according to the Live E page of the official site. It will be really neat to have live music at the hotel throughout the summer.

I'm too lazy to look right now, but where will the band play? In the new Surf Lounge?

It hasn't been stated specifically where the band will play. I'd imagine they will roam around the hotel and beach. I guess it depends on whether they are more of a Beach Band (which isn't listed with the midway entertainment anymore by the way) or a lounge band.

Maybe that's the band for the Beach Blast?

That would certainly make sense. I have a feeling that will be the case.

The web-cam on Breakers shows great activity & fast progression! That makes me excited for my mid May visit to the hotel. Am I correct in the assumption Bon-Air was the area where the basic, less expensive rooms were? Does anybody have an idea what section will they be in now?
