Okay, Pirate Ride. Fun, and a classic. The Pirate Ship was also a great play area.
Blue Streak trains, nuff said.
Removal of Bear Country. One of the greatest kids areas in the world. I remember the time when it was the highlight of my Cedar Point Trip. I also loved running up the owl hill, getting spooked and running back down. It was so wonderful. I bet I would still enjoy it today, even though I am a teenager now.
Kid Arthur's Court. That place was great. The tunnels and ballpits were a castle load of fun. Especially in "Jail"
Mean Streak's destruction. How could they do this to a great woodie? Mean Streak became my favorite woddie when it opened. Now it ranks kinda low and is actually on my avoid list.

I miss the Pirate and Earthquake rides. The arcade that is sitting at the Pirate ride site is rarely used, and the games are in poor condition. They need more dark rides there.
I liked Jungle Larrys and the Aquarium too. Both were a nice change from just rides.
I really miss the dark rides(pirat & earthquake). I also miss the cartoon signs at the ride entrances.
My 2,nd favorate ride at amusement parks are the dark rides. These seem to be vanising at most parks due to vandles. But there are ways around that....1: add cages to the dark ride cars to keep peeps inside the car. 2: Do like kennywood does on the old mill, and kings island does with sd , add cameras and have an employie watch over them. Its a shame that some morons have to destroy a fun thing. Just think how well a dark ride like scooby doo would do at the point.
Ever since they removed the pirat ride, the area by blue streak has lost its charm. Its now just another plot of concrete.
Also, I really think that the biggest waste of space at the park has to go to peanuts playground. You would think that something(anything) else in that spot would attract more peeps to that area of the park.
Other than that, I think the park has made some great additions and changes over the years.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
There are so very many mistakes I could mention here, but I'll sum it up into one: Cedar Point's focus on making money (or avoiding the loss of money) rather than creating a special amusement park.
I certainly don't blame them for trying to make money, because it's necessary to keep the park going and to pay for all the people to make it happen. And we all know lawyers rule the earth now.
But CP already had something special going, and by failing to see that IN ADDITION TO the bottom line has created this frankly long post we have here. My family didn't start going to Cedar Point back in the day because they had the biggest and best rides. In fact, we've actually stopped going annually because it's just too expensive and the charm simply isn't there anymore.
I'm all for updating the park, and bringing in new rides and all, but it seems to me like a lot of decisions revolve around saving/making money rather than saving classic elements of the park that make it special, and ultimately I believe that's their biggest mistake.
Any similarity in name is purely coincidental.
