Off topic: I've heard lost is good, but what show I really love is the show "Entourage" check it out...
i can see some type of coaster this year or a water coaster because if six flags magic mountain is building a roller coaster this year cedar point will prolly try to keep up with them.

check out The Point Online. wood and other junk have arived in the SC parking lot.
One of the pictures that they have on their site is of a shipping tag that says "Adena Corp." I did a quick search to find out what the Adena Corporation is. I searched their site a bit and when I looked around under "commerical," I found something that says "Picture Coming Soon." Underneath that it says "Cedar Point; Sandusky, Ohio." Pretty interesting. There seems to be a lot of rebar of there...
Here's the link if your interested...

To me, it looks like one of three things (though all are encouraged to prove me wrong):
1 - Replacement wood for CCMR, with the rebar being used for the SS station...
-or-
2 - Wood & rebar for the SS station, to be built in FT. The one thing that contradicts both of these would be the Adena involvement, since it doesn't look like they do many coaster/ride stations...
-or-
3 - Wood for a fence to build around the WWL (aka "Area 52") site.

To me, that doesn't look like wood you would use to build a fence. Normaly for a temp. fence i would imagine 1x8's. The wood there looks like 6x6's 4x6's 2x4's and 1x3's. I could be wrong. But I'll be up there today and will take a look myself.
One of the tags on the rebar says FND reinforcing. FND=foundation?
Another Tag Says Spring Creek Building S... Could this be a possible name for the new ride?

does anybody else see the humor in one of those tags having a "master number" of 12E? ;)

Thrills Around the Corner!
Guys, I think I have and idea on what might happen in the space of WWL. Lets go back to page 55 were I think DBCP said he partcipated in a park survey were he was asked "Would you be interested in a boardwalk style area on the beach that offered a wide variety of shops and restaurants?" Now look at the link that he gave us on this page. On the commercial page it says it mentions retail space.
I made it to the Po!nt today and took a look around at most everything. Other than the delivery to Soak City, all looks the same. I got some shots myself as well. As I had not ridden WWL yet this year, I made a point to do so today. After you go around the corner by CP&LE RR, there is a gravel road on your right. There are many construction markings along this road (mostly red).
The tag that you couldn't quite make out on thepointol.com said "Sprink Creek Building Supply." This is just a ReBar supplier.
Adena Corp has Cedar Point listed in it's commercial projects section. Based on their past project experience, I wouldn't be suprised if we saw some new shops or restaurants. Who Knows.
The name of the company that is mentioned on the tag on the wood is "Forest Grove Lumber Co., Inc."

I can tell you now, they won't be putting in new restuarants because they have some already right next to White Water Landing. Unless they plan to get rid of those as well as part of a new construction project for that whole area. Meaning whatever goes in will have new restuarants in the area as well.
The news I have heard for a few years involved making the front beach side of the park (WT area) a boardwalk style area.
Of course, this was around the same time (When Mantis was built) that the employees were saying the new ride was going to be called "Cougar" and it was going to be a roller coaster that was at the back of the park and went out over, and UNDER Lake Erie in a few segments.
Now the following years, until now, we know this mystery coaster hasn't been built - but could it be the project for Area 52?
