I'm beginning to think that I'm the only person who feels that flat rides wouldn't fit too well in FT. It just seems to me that there are plenty of other places that are far better suited (and more visible) to put in a small attraction. I was under the impression that CP was trying to revitalize the midway(s) near MaxAir, and logic would dictate adding more flats in that general vicinity, as opposed to hiding them in FT.

I agree. I think the Oceana Midway has recieved its upkeep for a while with WT and maXair and the new games. Now its time to focus on the Frontier areas. I actually think a large flat ride like a top spin would draw some more people back that way. Do you remember what Tomb Raider did for PKI back when it was added? When you advertise a new ride it gets peoples attention. And when you mark the ride in big bold lettering on the map people will head right for it even if they can't see it from the front of the park.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
I agree with you dj about the space issue, It's just that after 49 pages of arguing about it, I've become quite bored.

No way! They could find a use for Oceana... and they can always build a coaster over it instead of tearing it down.
Also, I'm starting to agree with others as far as not wanting much more traffic in FT. It would be cool to have a coaster that goes around back there, cause the station could be pretty much anywhere, but to put flat rides back there just doesn't seem to fit with the ambiance of FT.
As for WT & MaxAir, I think that 2 rides (and the news games/landscaping) is not enough to really revitalize the area. Adding some more flats or carnival-type attractions up there could really help achieve the "coney island" feel of that midway.

Well, last year we went for Halloweekends, and Troika came with its own Carnie operator. As much as I hate to say it, I think we've seen the last of Chaos (the recent problems, plus the lack of automatic latch release seem to be dooming it). And its location could make a good spot for a topspin. I really hope they just fix Chaos though because it is one of my favorite flats, I just hate waiting for the op to make their way around to let us out.

The one ride i think would be extremely sweet to see at cedar point would Be like X at six flags magic mountain. It is the only one of its kind and if cedar point could take that idea and make there own that breaks records that would be unbelievable. Just think we would be 2nd park in the world to have this type of coaster.
In case u havent seen it
I think seeing a floorless at cedar point would also be extremely sweet. I was just putting the idea out there since its such a rare thing to see a ride like X. Any new coaster at cedar point will be cool.
Harry: "Yeah, I called her up. She gave me a bunch of crap about not listening to her enough or somethin. I don't know, I wasn't paying attention."
And completely rebuild the station to handle the fallaway floor.
And how do you "Mullet"? that form of "gotta" is used as a verb, to say "You gotta try this" or "You gotta ride". The form you want is "Your-Moms-Got-A-Mullet" but then again, I guess if your mom didn't have one, you'd already know that.
