Any word or thought on a ride for 2006???

That's probably a factor as well. Although a floorless car could always be designed to run on that gauge.

My new vote is for the skyswat. That would definitly turn some heads.

X WAS built a few years ago. Seeing this you'd think the problem was solved. Too bad the company that designed/built it either went under or joined another Co. Someone else is working on a design at the moment. I wanna say Vekoma or Intamin but I'm not totally sure. Mantis would have to be totally redone costing them money and doing nothging for the coaster count and "removing" a ride type they don't alerady have in the park. Plus i think floorless are usually a little more spreadout then Mantis.

Skyswatt is the ugliest thing i have ever seen.

I would rather see a screaming Swing... or even better... Top Spin or Jump2.

No it isn't! In its first year it was, and not anymore.

YOu guys who don't want to see X at Cedar Point because of reliability are crazy. I don't know who alls been on it, but I would take a 4D with 75% downtime opposed to any other coaster. X is by far the greatest creation on the face of the earth in my opinion.

The trains are so wide though. As for the skyswat thing. I would say get one. Those look like you get a lot of airtime. Look kinda fun too.

How many Scream'n Serpant boxes did you (or whoever built it) have to use, because i have on and it doesnt look anything like that! That was really cool and complicated looking!

Sky Swat looks cool (appearance wise) and fun.

Skyswat would be awesome to have. I cannot afford to travel to ride it. I have one dissapointing word though: Swing n' Scream. OK so that was 3. Peace Mike

i agree that X is an incredibly awesome design for a ride. I think it would be great at cedar point its so unique and one of a kind. It has to be such a rush to ride it. And the design should be alot further along now and could be at the point where it runs flawlessly.

Flawlessly? No ride runs flawlessly. Even the "Peanuts 500" broke down when I took my nephew to the park a few weeks ago. A part of the flooring broke.

by flawlessly i was meaning to the point of any of the other rides at cedar point that barely ever see break down. Such rides as like magnum and raptor which always seem to be running.

DUDE!!! Its gonna have flaws!! the company that built it went under or joined with another. Why do you think we have not seen any more of these? I've said it once already. If it has been fixed to the best it can be it was done by Six Flags who is also now going under. I see a pattern here.... Anyways. If Six Flags has fixed it, even then its probably not long term seeing how they operate and you think they would tell competition how to fix it? man your a freakin genious.
