Yeah, try figuring out how to get 5 people on one train!, talk about a migraine!:)
But luckily I bring extra strength Advil when I go to Cedar Point....just for such occasions.:) *** Edited 7/26/2005 3:40:55 AM UTC by TTD 120mph***

Near Miss? As in oh look, those to trains nearly missed, but they didn't, and now the coaster is down for 2 months while we wait for custom parts from switzerland to be made.

Are you being sarcastic or something?
I don't technically get a headache, it's just a hassle for me and every other group with over 2 people who want to ride together.

i think he was agreeing with you. It can be a real mess in that station sometimes. My cousins and I were there 2 weeks ago and though we were in lines with the same ammount of people, but by the time it came to be our turn to ride, we were 2 trains apart and let people ahead of us so we could ride together. Which I suppose sounds simple enough, but we actualy had a hard time finding people to go ahead of us, because they were trying to make sure they were on the same train as someone else as well.
Oh and just so i'm not completely off topic, I think a new water ride to replace WWL with a nice western theme would go great back in that area of the park. Something that would spruce up the area and have a higher capacity than WWL does right now. That or do a complete overhaul on WWL. You could spend just as much money doing that as building new, so I say go new.

I was not questioning the idea, i was questioning the termanology. What makes it a "Near Miss" coaster? Do they collide? If not, then it should be called a "Near Hit" coaster.

A duel near miss coaster has two different track layouts that overlap. When they overlap the have a inversion(Like a in line twist or corskscrew) where the trains come within about 12 inches of each other. Dueling Dragons has a finalie with the two trains coming toward each other and then both do a loop(again coming within 12 inches of each other) So the trains don't collide, they just come really close to eachother. That ride is inverted like Raptor. Sorry CP Bound I said exactly what you said.
