How many sea gulls is there at CP?
Don;t worry CedarPoint! It's not that expensive in the employee cafe.Less than a doller for a cup you can refill as much as you want.

I would wager that the park does pay for the product, but gets some sort of kick-back for the volume sold. That was standard for Coke in my experience. While my numbers are based on another experience i had in the recent past, in that case the fountain soda was sold at a better rate than the bottles because of the difference in volume sold. Really buying any pop from a park is putting the money right into their pockets. That is exactly why Holiday World's practice is so amazing. Think of all of the lost potenetial revenue

Just HAD to get in on this conversation. Jeff is right.
The brother-in-law of my husband's co-worker (are you following this?) works for Pepsi. CP pays NOTHING for that $3.00 Pepsi. It is pure profit.
We had a great day at CP on Mother's Day. Waited for a break in the rain, then drove there and had a wonderful afternoon! (We bought Season Passes - first time ever).
We have 2 year old triplets and spent the entire day (more or less) in Kiddie Kingdom. A CP employee took several pictures of our kids on the "police cars." Maybe they'll be in an ad some time! The advantage to going to CP with three kids is all that storage space in the strollers for coolers! We didn't spend a dime on drinks.

Unsure about the cooler thing but let's keep in mind CP IS A BUSINESS...It is their right to MAKE MONEY...If you don't like it don't go...Compare CP VALUE to other ENTERTAINMENT...Have you been to a Movie lately.
While I do not condone the $3 pepsi, guess how much it is a Jacob's Field this season ($3.50).
If anyone is making book on it, I bet before July 4th we will see the machine Pepsi back down to at least $2.50 if not all the way to $2.00.

It's very hard to drink all day...
Unless you start first thing in the morning.
