This isn't news, this is nothing new. Why even think about starting a thread on something that's been around since 2002? The boredom people are facing must really be surfacing in these types of threads.
Maybe we can talk about the new 300ft Intamin...oh wait, that was done and built 9 years ago.

So if your not interested in the thread...please don't post.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
I cannot believe it has been 9 years for MF. It seems like it was just yesterday. Time flies way too fast. :(
"You wanna, you gotta, you hafta hold on, Cedar Point...HOLD ON!"
I spend very little money while inside the park. I leave the park for meals, and leave a cooler in the car. Unless they lower the prices, or increase the quality, I don't see that changing.

$3 soda isn't as criminal as using fear to gain support for a pork laden bill or to take your freedoms.

^ I'm fairly certain the American public is now used to the office of the president using fear to gain support for policies that take away freedoms and/or invade countries.

Yeah, anyone who watched the press conference last night can tell you that! :)

I wouldnt be surprised if they raise the prices soon... I have seen places worse than $3 so i say its only a matter of time....
I agree that it's ridiculous, but most stadiums are a helluva lot worse. Busch Stadium, St Louis: $5 for a soda, $8.50 for a beer. THAT'S robbery.
I think that's where threads like these inevitabley lead, DRose; Beer, for example, costs me the same whether I am at CP or an Indians game. Of course I'm paying a crazy amount if I compared it to being at Kroger. Once they have you "inside" they can do whatever they want. Seeing as how the prices haven't dropped, I would imagine there are enough people willing to shell out the 3 bucks.

It gets worse when you turn 30. Just wait.

I always get suckered into buying at least one bottled beverage when I'm at CP. It just depends on what ride, the weather, and length of the line. I know on TTD, there is a machine every 5 feet.

Will it make it worse if I mention that this is actually the 10th operating season for MF....
Just your usual come and go poster. One week I am here, then I disappear for a while.
a Coors Light at Blossom is $11. It is a 24oz though.
2008 visits = 38, 2009 = 19, 2010 = 11, 2011 = 14, 2012 = 10, 2013 = 14, 2014 = 14, 2015= 13, 2016 = 11, 2017 = 5, 2018 = 3
I usually end up buying one also but then reuse it during the day for water or when I take a trip to my vehicle I refill up with my own pop and then smuggle it back in. Haven't had to through one out yet getting back in.
I do that also. Every now and then I tend to refill the bottle at the station inside coasters ;)

I just fold up an empty water bottle and keep it in my cargo shorts. Then I fill it up at the local water fountain outside of whatever ride I'm on. Then I just pour it off the ride if I'm about to get on and put it back in my pocket.
Just bring crystal light packets with you and a water bottle, fill the water bottle up and drink your crystal light.
