Maybe they should fence in all of the markings and charge an up charge fee for viewing? :)
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

Just watched the latest Pointcast. I miss Tony. That is all.
Agreed. Pointcast and blog are pretty bland now.

Wondering if anyone's heard if they've been running rides. One in particular, CCMR, with those Gemini trains. I would think if they're going to, they would've started. Just curious. I'd like to see this happen.

I'm surprised I didn't see any mention of the picture posted of the Luminosity stage:

After seeing that, I kind of forgot how narrow the midway is right there. It looks like a good orientation to give people a view of Millenium Force, but a poor orientation for giving people a good view of the show (I'm thinking most will be looking at the show sideways down the midway). It'll be interesting to see if that's actually an issue. Just a little over a month!
Narrow? It's one of the widest midways in the park.

Well some people have narrow minds.
But so far it is amazing how fast past the construction is going. Would be cool to see a time lapse with a few cuts of the nasty white screen coming down then to this.
Also a quick question with the restoring the lighting package on Millennium Force? Peeling though the cobwebs was at least the second hill on the island lite up also?
Speaking of lighting, has anyone caught a glimpse of anything turned on and tested in the evening hours? The webcams would catch the Giant Wheel lit up and the Main Midway but we'll have to wait to Millenium Force in its new found glory.

So...green rooms below the stage? I wasn't expecting a basement below the stage, but it makes perfect sense. I just didn't think that was an easy thing to do on Cedar Point...

Sorry to get off topic for a second, but does anyone know the hours of the pass office at CP this Saturday (28th)?

Where the old giant screen was located, people filling the midway all the way back to the Sky Ride station had a straight-on view of what was going on.
Now, think if the giant screen was located in the orientation of Luminosity. I'm obviously not saying that the midway there is narrow for walking, but for for viewing a $6 million show, it's questionable. It seems like only a small fraction of the people will have a straight-on view of Luminosity as it was intended, at least if this draws as many people as I'm thinking.
Since I haven't seen the show yet, I could be wrong. But, that's what I meant by narrow: Wildcat to Iron Dragon vs Skyride to Train.

Actually I don't think it's meant to be a straight on view of the stage. It's seems like it's supposed to be more of an immersive experience where you can watch what is going on from many angles.
Say you are walking from Sky Ride to the Train. You can see stuff on the stage from every angle, all you have to do is look to your right. And there are supposed to be sections of staging that are in the middle of the midway, similar to the thrust that was shown in the picture.
