Woo hoo! New lights for Millennium Force, Giant Wheel & Power Tower! This I have to see in 70 Days!
Frontier Town: 2013-2017
I feel like you would be able to use the portion of thunder canyon that is not used up by cornstalkers for terror island.
Yeah I really would like to know if they stated where in Frontier Town Terror Island was going to go?

John did not specify an exact location for Terror Island.
One other thing that John announced today that everyone should be excited about is that they are hiring 2 additional full-time maintenance staff. That equals less downtime for rides. I was excited to hear that Cedar Point is investing in additional staff to give a better overall guest experience.

Actually four full time staff, two ride mechanics and two controls / electrical technicians.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

I'm really hoping this is the first step at themed areas. I'm loving everything.
Enjoy the rest of your day at America's Rockin' Roller Coast! Ride On!
You know with the stage being used for Peanuts show during the day, I wonder if there is still going to be a Snoopy skating show.

Imagine your favorite tv show. You've been through it all. The ups, the downs, the crazy coincidences and then bang! They tell you what it's all about. Would you be happy? Does it make sense? How come it all ended in a church? - Joker

I missed that. Must have been making another cookie run.

I feel like Cedar Point looked at my personal wish list, and said "OK, we'll change that."
Very much looking forward to this and the coming years...what the fresh leadership has up its sleeves. They are certainly off to a good start. :)

Here is an unedited raw cut of the presentation it cut out at the end because I ran out of space... I hope you all like it!

Yes. In fact it will be a NEW Snoopy on Ice show which debuted last Fall at Knott's.

I just got done watching the video and there's a lot of interesting stuff in it. I'm glad to see the main midway getting work done. Also the lights in the ground, that'll be very nice. They also mentioned putting down blacktop on the causeway which will deffently make that a better ride.
One thing I noticed in the Luminosity drawings is that the projector buildings that the overlord comes out of, are not in the drawings so it looks like those will be taking out.
Just out of curiosity, is anybody going to be posting pictures from the tour?

Thank you for the video. Very cool things coming to the park this year. I am fascinated by the light up concrete paths.

Dang I hope so, since I just got rehired for that show! :D
But yes it is the same show that was at Knott's last year.

I had hoped that among the new changes would be "placemaking" projects like the reshaping of the Iron Dragon Midway into a more pleasant and park-like place. This is a very encouraging sign.
