It's also worth noting that several of the Luminosity slides feature the logo of RWS and Associates, the folks who brought us Rock Band LIVE. So depending on your feelings about that particular show this is either terrific or horrifying news.

I dont really think you can judge this show based on Rock Bank LIVE. This seems like something totally different. But that's just me.

Imagine your favorite tv show. You've been through it all. The ups, the downs, the crazy coincidences and then bang! They tell you what it's all about. Would you be happy? Does it make sense? How come it all ended in a church? - Joker
I feel like this a lot of Matt's vision then RWS and Associate's vision for this show.

That presentation really solidified just how awesome this year will be. I'm uber excited for the new season!

I've heard that Breakers is getting some love too. The BonAir section is being stripped down to the walls (in terms of furnishings and fixtures) and getting brand new everything. Not sure that is the long term solution for that section of the hotel but I know it is overdue.

Am I the only one that noticed him talking about a dark ride in the future?
Enjoy the rest of your day at America's Rockin' Roller Coast! Ride On!
We all heard it. John didn't bring it up but rather was answering a question about adding a dark ride. His comment was that it's on an active list of projects for future consideration. From the way he talked, a dark ride has been on a their list for a while but other projects have taken priority. I really didn't get a feeling that a dark ride is coming soon but with a new vision from the top, anything is possible.

Many thanks to Walt, Brian, and everyone else involved with this event! It was my first one and I had a great time. I also shot a lot of video and stills of the tour. Hopefully I'll have a video put together in the next few days and post it to my YouTube account.
Here are my pictures from the tour I hope you like them.

I WILL ALWAYS KICK THE SKY.
Huge thanks to Bryan, John, Lee, and Brian for taking time out on a cold Saturday to put on a fantastic event. We had a great time.
Here are our photos from the event, including the group picture. I also upload a short video to Vimeo.
^^^ Those were really great pictures. I noticed the ones of Cedar Creek Mine Ride's trains. Did they say anything about those trains being used or not?
I added additional photos to the album that Walt linked to. It includes interior shots of Disaster Transport.

Thanks everyone. It was a great suprise to get to go inside Disaster Transport. Noticing the new utility markings around the ride. Who knows how long the ride will still be there. Yeah, I said it. :-)

Im sure the new lights on Power Tower, Millennium Force and Giant Wheel will be ready by opening day, but will the new lights on the main midway only come on when the show operates? Or will the new lighting be ready on opening day?
I wonder if we'll see a Space Spiral revamp for 2013.

Remember how last year, Kinzel said that there may be a surprise for 2012? Now, this could mean nothing, or a definite something. A coaster, in my opinion, is not a possibility for next year. But I could see a thrill ride, or a revamp of a ride. Sorr, this is sorta off topic, but I just thought I'd share my thoughts.

I feel like you would be able to use the portion of thunder canyon that is not used up by cornstalkers for terror island.
The unused area doesn't amount to very much, and with the lift hill being at one end of it, that would be difficult. However, I can think of three midways/paths in Frontier Town where you could put a zone on one and still have a detour for people who don't want to go through the zone to go around it. Two of the three would likely even be wide enough to allow for two-way traffic.

Yes. In fact it will be a NEW Snoopy on Ice show which debuted last Fall at Knott's.
That's fantastic news. I loved the first two versions of the show, but the version they've done the last couple of years was very uninteresting to me.
The rest of the improvements, particularly the lighting and sound upgrades, sounds phenomenal. Although I assume with the introduction of premium parking, my spot right next to the picnic shelter won't be available to me anymore. :(
