155 days till Halloweekends!

Indeed. That BooBuzz is on a Friday is a pretty huge win. :)

I didn't agree with that up until Jeff got them to switch ERT from 5:00 to 4:00. When it was just 5:00 with platinum passholders, what's the point? But with Millennium all to yourselves, it should be pretty epic.

I'm pretty sure I'll be getting a membership with CBuzz so that I can take advantage of these things next year... mostly CoasterMania!

If the MF ERT at BooBuzz is anything like ERT for Maverick for past BooBuzzes, you won't even have to get off the train. Which sounds awesome, until sometime around your 3rd or 4th consecutive lap.

So long as the weather holds for this year's BooBuzz, the entire night should be pretty epic. :)

I'm really excited about Halloweekends this year!! It will be my first time since 2003. I am excited to ride coaster in cooler weather, and for all of the haunted attractions.

I was just wondering, what do they do with Frontier trail during Halloweekends? Did they keep Startlight Experience going last year?

Frontier Trail turns into the FrightZone. From the covered bridge under Millennium all the way to the SRF bridge is a lights-out, fog filled scare zone.

This year, actually on the same day as coastermania, the ERT was dead for MF. We had the scenario where they aloud us to walk straight from the exit into the station. We too thought it was amazing, but when we both whited out on the 3rd lap we stopped.

We were fortunate not to have many resort guests to compete with that early in the season... it was just the CM folks and the PP holders. I can only imagine you guys on BooBuzz, no resort guests AND no PP holders.

Which was my favorite part of Halloweekends last year. I preferred that trail over most of the haunts.

It is my understanding that the rides are limited on Friday night and the haunts are closed on Sundays, correct?

Starting Sun. Oct. 10th, the haunts will be open Sundays, 7-9pm.

Same prices as any other time of year.

Obviously, Friday you only need a Starlight ticket, not a full admission ticket, but regular tickets will be needed Saturday and Sunday.

Thanks Jugga, i really have never been in charge of buying the tickes haha.

It'd be an understatement to say that Halloweekends have grown in popularity over the years. With as packed as it has been in recent years, I've been wondering why Cedar Point doesn't try experimenting by increasing the hours like King's Island has, especially in mid - late October.

Yes, I understand KI is next to a major city, but leaving the park open until 1AM makes Fridays more attractive. Even on a really cold day last year, Friday night Halloweekends weren't dying out nearly as hard as they used to in the late hours...

Indoor haunts were open on Sunday last year, dont see that changing this year.

I would love to scare an extra hour into the morning, but my god would my body hate me lol

The indoor haunts have always been open on Sundays. This year will be the first year the outdoor haunts open up on the last 4 Sundays of the season. Even though I start an 8 hour shift at my other job just 3 hours after the zones close Sunday night, I'm still really looking forward to the extra days.

How awesome would it be if CP was open until 2AM on Fridays and Saturdays?

I think if they were open until 1 or 2 AM that they would see an increase in the number of people staying as resort guests and not wanting to have to deal with a drive that late into the night.

I'm surprised the park hasn't raised gate prices for Saturday Halloweekends. They really should, in my opinion, even if it's only by a couple bucks.

One month left!

I should also throw into this topic some love for HWeekends Live E, I am stoked for the Garter show!

Any word yet on what the shows might be this year?

John mentioned something about a new magic show that combines both song and dance which will be playing in the Jack Aldrich Theater.

I assume that means no Chris Linn for HalloWeekends this year? He never quite did the big serious dramatic stuff (which often included dancing) Aaron Radatz liked to do.
