Okay, there are only 6 pictures here. Took some more but the camera on my phone is pretty crappy. It was bright out today and the others I took came out as shadows in front of a bright sky. Time to invest in a good digital camera once and for all.

Awesome, Thanks for the heads up!
I can't believe how close it is! Very glad they are doing Boeckling's Banquet again.
Still no word on whether the Red Garter show will be a live band or just vocalists this year. Anybody have the inside track?
I wanna say it will based on this summer, but honestly that show was pretty awesome last year and it seems they aren't changing it much.
Also its a little over 2 weeks now :-D

The karaoke show was terrible last year. Removing the live band ruined the best show at the park.
Goodbye MrScott
John
And then they added a live band to create the worst show in the park so I'm still not sold...
Having an 80's power rock show in a family park was well worth it band or no band. The singers all had fantastic voices. But then I'm a band geek so I appreciate the little things like being able to carry pitch through four part harmony's and not just, "This guy can play guitar and mask the mediocre voices"

Just wanted to let all you Screamsters that I am pretty excited for next weekend. I am really hoping the haunts, effects, the entire "show" is great!
Hey Ralph. We're staying at Campers Village the weekend of 9/24-9/26. Never met you, but always enjoyed your enthusiasm and replies about Halloweekends. What zone do you work? We'll try to get the **** scared out of us by you. My wife loves this time of the year at the park best. And walking 5 minutes to the trailer after park closing lets us enjoy the night more, not worrying about the parking lot jam.
Frito Joe
Started running a mile or more a day, just to attempt to take some of the pain out of the first weekend haha

Hey Joe (good Hendrix song) I'll be in Terror Island. Keep an eye out for the Captain and his mangy parrot.
Fright zone is still where it's at ;-)

I gave up on trying to get physically ready for it. The first couple weekends will kick my butt either way.
I frequently train for marathons and triathalons, I'm in excellent shape, and the first weekend of Halloweekends still hurts. I love it! ...and I'm about 5 to 10 years older than a lot of the others.
My first year on the island, I ran a half marathon (13.1 miles), then worked on the island that night. The next day was awesome being so sore! Now that's extreme!
Like its said, if you're not sore after working in the zone, then you're not doing your job right!
