12E....hmmm?

I like rathofdoom's theory, that its on every CP coaster. Good call. Maybe at the time they that it was so bad of a coaster, they were calling it the 12th best coaster in the park even though there wasn't even 12 coasters in the park? lol, that's how I would have done it if it was me.

12E being Cedar Point's version of Hidden Mickeys?

I would say that its just a random number. Im goin to the park tomorrow so I will look around to see if i can find any other coasters with 12E.

OK. I officially give up. Go find your 12Es all over the park. They're everywhere! They're in the blue food restaurant, they're in the coaster that goes under the lake, and they mark the spot where Magnum is sinking...

So that's where I can find my Cedar Point Ducks pressed penny (I dropped it when I stood watching Magnum sinking).

Sinnce Tony and Tyler are about to tell us what it means on Wednesday I thought I would bring this back up.

Someone asked if it had to do with the company that rethemed it. T&T said he was red hot.

Someone asked if the "12" his son/daughters age while the "E" is their first initial. T&T said he was red hot.

Does 12E have to do with the name of a particular designer of disaster transport or avalanche run?

Yes they said, but thats not the full explanation.

Is it the 12th ride the designer did? Or 12th ride to be built at Cedar Point? T&T said that that was part of the explation.

And finally Would the "12" stand for how many times she test rode it and the "E" stand for her name? Tony said that this was also half right and thet will finally tell us on Wednesday.

I think the 12 deffiently means Intamin's 12th ride they ever made. They told us that the EE does not stand for enclosed.

It's probably something to do with constucting the building.

T&T said it had to do with the desinger.

They also said it had to do with the company who enclosed the ride, so that would eliminate Intamin from the picture.

ITEC was the company who enclosed the ride.

I'm guessing 12 is the serial number, E is the revision. Or the designers name. Or something.

Yes. It's generated a ton of buzz, which is what they wanted.

I almost expect the answer he's going to give us wednesday will still leave some of the mystery around that number.

That was me, hehe. Actually, I said "ITEC" in my comment, but they took that out before posting, so maybe it has to do with the actual name and they didn't want to give it away...

Well maybe that's because not everyone knows what Intamin is... they should just leave it in and add "the company who designed the ride."

Maybe we've been looking at all wrong...what if it's an anagram?

Instead of 12E how about twelve E? Following the hint that E could be someone's initial, a logical name would be Eve. With the remaining letters it could spell a last name or a middle initial and a last name. So I maybe it's something like Eve Twel, Eve T Wel, etc.

In any case, it was fun thinking about it while bored at work. ;)
