Hey that looks pretty cool! Do you know if the person that made that used the details specified in the leak? I ask that because I don't remember them mentioning a splashdown element, but that would be really cool if the park did go with that.

I don't know why they wouldn't use the details from the leak, but as long as they're making things up why not go with a splashdown, too?

Having said that, it's a really great design for a slow, lame, tame, one trick pony dive coaster. We can hope, right?

Well I know that they used the inversions from the leak, but I meant more of the subtle details like the helix at the end or where the MCBR is, plus the general shape of the layout. I wasn't sure if the Sandusky Register article had that information in it or if it's just a guess.

I found a picture of a fan made layout for Valravn dive coaster on Instagram. After more investigation I found the video. It's very well made and gives me a better idea of the color scheme.

Well that video has me sold on the color scheme. Sure it doesn't remind me of some dark creature, but it does look much nicer than I expected.

I can already envision the ride from a far as you cross the causeway. If this ends up being even remotely close to what CP has in store for us it will not only be a great addition to the park, but the CP skyline as well.

Yeah Rider16017 I saw that video too. It was actually a very well made video. The color scheme does look very nice and I really like the logo that person had.

I like the color and I think the logo is spot on, But I still just think it will clash too much with Rougarou ://

I don't even think Rougarou's orange track is remotely similar to the brown track spotted in Clermont. If anything, Iron Dragon and TTD are in closer proximity with clashing paint colors. Even then, (disregarding the horrid ID supports) it's not even that bad.

As for an over sized train doing already solved smooth inversions I find the whole B&M 235 footer kind of a yawn for that special central forever in our lifetimes midway behemoth.

I'm not sure I agree. Height isn't what will make this ride, its theming and elements are, whatever they may be. Either way, 235' isn't a short coaster. To put it in perspective, it's taller than 88% of the coasters at the point, all but two (MF and TTD), Almost 100' taller than Raptor, 65' taller than Gatekeeper, and the 6th highest structure at CP (only one foot shorter than Slingshot).

Well there's around 1,300 coasters in the world, give or take 50 or so, and with the height specified in the Sandusky Register the coaster would be taller than about 98.5% of the coasters in the world. Gosh I feel really spoiled now.

If this coaster is coming to CP, Maybe they will use the 10 seat wide train frame, but only have 8 seats on it to provide the needed room so they can use the new vest style restraints, i can only hope.

The old style just feels too cramped anymore and when i sit next to someone, i can't help invading their arm space so i have to ride hugging the restraint to help avoid that.

I thought it was 223' in the memo. Am I wrong?

Yeah. I thought it said 223'. In all reality though that is not much of a difference.

If we are holding the design strictly to the leaked memo, it does not bode well for a dive tunnel or gate flyover.

As I think those would be pretty substantial elements and would be in the memo as well.

Pictures have been posted over at Kings Island Central of the brown B&M track being loaded onto trucks. There are now dark blue/purple supports along side the track. There is also a picture of a tag from the supports.
