I know there is no way of knowing if that guys is right or not, but can you imagine a 300 plus ft dive coaster at CP? It sounds awesome just saying it.
They were estimating the length of the lift track. That won't tell us how tall it will be. If we knew the incline angle, then we could get an estimate, that is, if the length of the lift track is in fact around 300 feet.
EDIT:
For example, if the incline angle was 45 degrees, with the length of lift track at 300 feet, then the height would be 212 feet. 50 degrees would yield a height of 229 feet.
If the coaster is going to be 223 feet tall as suggested by the Sandusky Register than the incline angle would be about 48 degrees with the length of the lift hill track at 300 feet.

Just to point out that on the label the customer is labeled X-Works. Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't this the same customer that was on Gatekeepers track? Or is it just on every B&M track?
I think once a coaster is announced they put a new tag on the pieces with the actual name of the customer.

The guy on that forum estimated 7 supports at 45-50' long.
7 supports at 45' = 315' length, with a 45° angle (which is the angle of other DMs) it would be a height of 222.7', basically 223'.
The supports can't be going to Nagashima Spa Land for their flying coaster because their flying coaster opened last month.

I knew those supports weren't for Acrobat........GET OFF MY CASE!! :P
That does make me wonder now. Though I just can't see blue going with that brown track. It has to be for a coaster that hasn't been announced yet.

I don't know, that deep blue looks really good with the orange/brown track. It seems to be a dark theme, which would fit Valravn well. I'd bet my money on this being it.
Those supports match more of what I would think would go with a mutant-raven theme, and I can see those colors going together pretty well. I used to build orangeish and bluish coasters all the time in RCT2.

I should clarify. I meant that I couldn't see it going with the brown track because of the gray supports that were seen in one of those first pics. It looked like the very same gray as on the underside of the brown track.
But I guess anything is possible.

Not to be a Debby Downer, but I am not enjoying that color combination at all.
All though I do have an interesting point to bring up. Cedar Point re-colored Mantis/Rougarou which had those identical blue colored supports. Maybe that is why they ultimately made the color change... they wanted the dark blue supports for their new roller coaster and didn't want it to clash with Mantis.
PS the color scheme reminds me of the Gemini station...
I don't want to fully judge something before it's built, but I don't really care for the color scheme either. I don't think it will look good with the surrounding attractions and scenery.
I don't buy into that "the colors fit the theme" idea either because:
^search "Valravn" on google.
As for the color scheme, I like it. Something a bit different :)
Sorry Thabto, but it looks like more blue is coming to the park.
