Are you the bungee guy?

What happened to the real tall guy with the big red bug like eyes?

I like the new giant rat in FF.

Hope to see you tonight. Rain doesn't look to good though.

I'll missed the bug guy costume.

^ I've only seen FF in the daytime the last couple of years, but the setup has improved greatly. I'm glad that zone got the attention it needed. I still wish they had a "barker" out on top of the mock castle entrance. Preferably someone who has watched Monty Python's Holy Grail at least 100 times. :)

This times infinity! This might actually be able to top the old Fright Zone barker, which is yet another bit of HW that has sadly been lost. Although, to pull that off effectively, they might need to come up with a rabid bunny costume for one particular joke. ;)

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.

when you go to carnevil and see the guy in the little stand/podium under the sign who looks kind of like a ring leader, thats a barker. Basically somebody telling you to come in. If you look at it this way almost every employee working one of the "games" around the park are their own barkers. when you get someone on a speaker goading people to come play or come look at the magical mysteries held within... that sort of thing. Technically the skull for fright zone sort of falls into it as well.

tldr: somebody standing out front to draw people into a zone/event/con/sideshow/etc...

I still think the person with one the the most dynamic and well rounded monster personality is Mr. Giggles, or who ever has the trash can in "Screamworks." Plus my teacher who teaches Psych in our school is working in the asylum (or what the ever the new name is), so getting to see her might make my entire day. For everyone who works at Halloweekends, it gets better and better every year. You leave me with memories of laughter, smiles, and scrares that make me come back every year. Thank you for going way beyond your job and making Halloweekends on of the best times in the fall.

Well no one here has, but it has been "reported" on other boards that something either flew or fell off (possibly from a rider or the ride itself) that led to it being shutdown. I was just curious what anyone here has heard.

Nothing to see here folks. Move along.

you'd be surprised at just how many teacher types there are in the screamsters. of various level too college through high school mostly. I guess the question is what does that say about students that it makes us go and have to torment people every year to let out stress haha.

So has anyone been to the park today? I was curious how busy it is. I went last Saturday, it was packed. I'm going next Sunday probably hopefully it isn't too busy.

Actually it just seems to get busier as it gets later in the month, each saturday/sunday especially get more packed. I went last sat. and it was just "regular" busy, like july saturday style busy. I have also gone near the end of october before, and it was so busy, that we didnt do much there, except walk around and watch hoards of people try to squeeze by in the midways :)

I went today. Wasn't bad at all. MF transfer gate was open during ERT, and it was an easy 10-15 minute wait after that. Not sure it was ever longer than the ramp. Raptor was a walk-on all day. Not sure I ever saw a full train running from the main midway.

I guess cornstalkers and I guess TI unless someone stepped up to jump into zeek's shoes.

We've still got someone out front (Rummy) although he's not really a barker like Zeek was. He draws people in though, and that's what matters.
