Reviewing the clues they haven't ruled out John Deere yet as a manufacturer. One more point in favor of Whyte Pile of Mulch Lightning. Boom.

How come there seems to be a lot of posts claiming "first" reversing flume? Has anyone been on Maelstrom in the Norway Pavillion at EPCOT? That is a reversing flume ride.

That ride concept by Intamin is pretty cool. I just hope if the attraction is something like that, it will have some type of mountain with tunnels. Not just some cluster of steel framing on Millennium Island. Maybe with a water fall pouring into the lagoon along the PWE route.

Riding Millennium Force there appears to be a spiral staircase and a few grey structural support in the boneyard next to the train tracks. Obviously I don't have a picture.

It would be awesome to see a flume built around something like the Disneyland's defunct Cascade Peak:

If Whyte Lightning is truely what the Wikipedia description is...I think CP just hit a homerun AND it's pure marketing genius. The name fits the description of the ride perfectly, especially if the whole ride is taken in reverse. (like a drunken moonshine runner) They could even sell some sort of Whyte Lightning energy soft drink to go with the ride. (Maybe even in stores OUTSIDE the park like a limited time Pepsi product) If we cross our fingers, maybe this ride will even have a "dark ride" component, which would fill the void left by the Pirate Ride. This would also be a worthy replacement for White Water Landing.

My only complaint with the Wikipedia description is that they are calling it a roller coaster and that it would be the tallest, fastest, steepest....With the marketing package shaping up as I mentioned above, would CP really need to stretch the facts that far to effectively market it? Well, only time will tell...

Tony already confirmed they had nothing to do with the wiki thing.

Really?? CPcyclone, please go back just 1 page (page 160) and read Tony's (the real CP Tony) post. The wiki is not from them, so it's bogus.

I know im a bit late, but i dont think those are ''eyes'' on the bottle of the Wyte Lightning page, I think it is just the glint of the bottle like on the handle.

Hopefully they come out tomorrow and alert the media that an announcement will be made next weekend. This anticipation is killing me

While I agree that most signs point to Log Flume, I wont label it CONFIRMED until the official announcement. Til then I shall continue to speculate and imagine just like everyone else.

Question: how does "Hmm. Chippery chips and whyte lightning a bad combo" rule out a coaster and confirm a flume? Isn't this just a comment on their recent Point Cast? Or did I completely miss something...

Ok may be not official confirmation but with all the clues plus just think what happens to chips when they get soaked not good!? and not a point cast read more than one thread. and yes you did!

I dont think he was confirming, or even hinting towards anything other than a near announcement date. He was simply replying to Adam's previous post about wanting the new Point Cast to be up. Chippery was the topic of the thread at the time. I seriously doubt that was any real hint.

People are reading WAY too much into things around here...
