I'm Pretty sure all Cedar Point is doing is trying to destroy Pointbuzz. Every year when we have to discuss a new ride it is impossible to have peace. So they tease us so that we fight, and cause the downfall of the site haha.

^Oh okay, Thanks su...I mean JuggaLotus. I noticed however you said somehwere "around" Labor Day, so technically that isnt a date, but I am glad we have a general idea.

I think we should all be happy that they are building anything. CP has never let me down whether they are building a flat, water ride, or a coaster. I am excited for the announcement.

I will be at Cedar Point Labor Day weekend and will be looking forward to the announcement! I agree with those who think it will be a water ride.

Please remain in your seat until the ride comes to a complete and final stop.

Alex, I rode SRF less than two weeks ago, and you know what? I saw no fish, in my boat, anyway. That makes sense, too, seeing as how the water is treated. TC's water is brought in from Lake Erie every morning, and when I rode that after SRF, I also saw no fish. But, if you're worried, fine - shorter lines for the rest of us.

And for probably the 315th time - they do not need to get rid of PWE to install a flume.

I don't think you understood what I ment. It would be
pointless to dig a pond on the island. So most think of using the lagoon (which is fool of fish).
As we stated before SRF uses new water with chemicals. Not Lake Erie.

Except that it wouldn't be pointless if a pond was required for the new ride. The new ride would be the point for putting in a pond on the island.

Do you think there might be a reason I didn't understand what you "ment"? Holy crap, man.

ADDED:
And I think SRF pumps water in from Erie at the start of the season, then treats it. I could be wrong on this. If that's what they do, they could do the same for a flume.

You know, I've wondered how they get rid of SRFs water at the end of the season. I can't imagine the EPA would be too happy with them dumping that much chlorinated water right back into the lake. There's got to be some kind of treatment they do prior to emptying.

Maybe they take it to the Castaway Bay! ;-)

When Cedar Fair had to get rid of the salt water left over from Six Flags World's of Adventure, I believe they had to truck it out. It wasn't chlorinated it, but dumping that much salt water down the drain would have screwed with the ecosystem of the area.

djdaemon: Are you purposely trying to be insulting for fun? I asked you to explain yourself, which you "finally" did, then you follow it up with insults. You don't even know me. I am paying attention to the posts, and I never once said I'm expecting a coaster. I would love for a GCI to be coming to CP, but I never said it was. In fact, if you truly read my posts, I came out and said that a coaster has been debunked several times and I get that.

I also get that the signs point towards some type of water ride. I've admitted that. But, there has been nothing, absolutely nothing to confirm this. Those who know don't talk, as Jeff says. Maybe you are right and CP will get a flume, but when did Jeff, Walt, or anyone truly in the "know" come out and say we are getting a flume next year? I mean, SRF is technically a flume, so that's not really a missing piece. CP's teasers's on Facebook are just that. I don't see how the clues differentiate a water ride from a coaster or anything else. It's all just fun.

You said we are getting a water ride because of the location?????? I'm pretty sure they will pump the water in from Lake Erie rather than that stale, carp-infested lagoon water. Not that Lake Erie is much better, but at least it circulates. One last thing...don't assume someone is "credible." Anyone credible is not going to reveal much at all.

You are entitled to your opinion, but you have no right to insult others. Several other people have indicated that as well.

The structure of the lift hill for "intimidator 305" looks insane. Only two large supports?

and has anyone thought of a Euro-Fighter? Those are fairly compact and it looks like one could fit on Millennium Island/over the water. And seem like they could have a "water" element added to them. Has anyone here ever been on one? -- thoughts?
