You said we are getting a water ride because of the location?????? I'm pretty sure they will pump the water in from Lake Erie rather than that stale, carp-infested lagoon water. Not that Lake Erie is much better, but at least it circulates.
I mentioned the location for two reasons. First, that area of the park is very near Lake Erie (with very few obstacles in the way), and at least some infrastructure for transporting said water to the ride already exists. Second, there's the fact that 100% of CP's other (non-kiddie) water rides are in this vicinity. It makes logical sense that they'd want their water rides near one another.
One last thing...don't assume someone is "credible." Anyone credible is not going to reveal much at all.
If you had read the entire thread, you'd see that I did, in fact, question the credibility of the info. You'd also have noticed that a few very respected members vouched for the fact that more people know about future projects than was the case in the past. This was also mentioned in the CB Podcast #152.
You are entitled to your opinion, but you have no right to insult others. Several other people have indicated that as well.
And you know what? You're entitled to completely ignore what I post, if it gets your panties in such a bunch.

Wow.
Let's just do a quick summary so perhaps we can move on. :)
1. Announcing on Labor Day Weekend (exact time TBA)
2. T & T have posted everything it will not be. (essentially finding every joke/rumor and posting it as a "hint").
3. It's not a coaster, it's water ride of some sort (repeat number 2 if this doesn't make sense)
There. That's what we "know".
Merry Christmas. Peace and good will toward men.
Building on that thought, and in the spirit of moving this discussion along, exactly who does manufacture water rides/flumes? I know Intamin built PP...but what other companies are out there?
Promoter of fog.
I know that arow(now s&s) used to, and I think that a company called "O.D Hopkins" still produces them. http://www.hopkinsrides.com/
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
I'm still hoping that whatever shape it takes, it incorporates both a dark/ride and flume...Intamin would appear to have the upper hand there, based on their previous work.

I dunno... Mack's DDRRF has quite a lot of theme to it, at least from the pics I've seen. I've never actually been on it.

djdaemon; I am completely entitled to ignore what you are posting, which is exactly what I will do. I hope you don't go about your daily life treating people the way you do on here. If so, I truly hope you get help one day.
net, will you knock it off. dj has moved on and so should you. He replies to someones comment and you randomly snap at him again. It is you who is continuing this argument, so drop it
The Mack water coaster looks pretty fun. I Think theming would go a long way on a water ride, and cp is not so much on the theming thing.

1.) That new ride and what's behind it looks strikingly similar to Kings Island's (new for 2009) ride Diamondback. I thought KD was done copying KI...........

Man, this thread is long....................
2.) This is a long thread lol
3.) Can we at least agree that this ride will be riden in cars/trains and leave the station at the beginning of the ride? That way it could be thought of as either a log flume or a roller coaster, and as far as theming, water inclusion, and who's making/designing the ride, I guess we'll have to see. After all, anyones guess is as good as.......anyone else's. :)
(To an extent)

When else would it leave the station? In the middle of the ride?

Thinking outside the box here. What about a dark ride with a theme having to do with moonshine running? This could explain why no footers or big structures. It would be able to go up in an off season. It would fit in the area and we don't have anything like that in the park. It fills a gap and other parks are putting them in. I recently went into "curse of Dar kastle" at busch gardens. That was the ride that suprised me and kept me thinking about it after we left. I know it is far fetched, but it hasn't been hinted at all by T+T.

.......Monorails can leave the station in the "middle of the ride" if there are 3 stations. That probably wasn't the best way to word it though. I see what you mean. :)
