Demon Drop gone forever?!?!

I'm glad it hasn't sold yet. My nephew has now just reached 48" and that will definatly be on the list of things to do.

Drop Zone at King's Island is good also, but it is not the same. I still like Demon Drop better.

I dont see it leaving anytime soon because i dont see them building anything new for next year after putting in a 20 million dollar coaster. when they do i personally would like to see one of thoose sky swat type of rides by s&s.

Those 1st gen Intamin free falls are still, and always will be, the most intense free fall rides out there.

And if you ride it correctly, it doesn't hurt. If you keep your head forward, instead of against the head rest, it's not bad at all.

There is something about that slow creep forward before you drop...and all the noide it makes sounding like it's going to just fall apart.

What a great ride.

I think Drop Zone has a higher intensity than Demon Drop and I'm sure if Demon Drop ever leaves they would put a ride in like that type. I doubt they would though since they have Power Tower Right in the middle of the park.
