Whatever works Ben.;)

And Bryan is correct. I just recently bought the camera and I want to keep it in good condition. Thus the reason why I have a camera case/fanny pack.
Speaking of which, here are the pics.

TTD 120, what kind of camera did you get? I bought a new one myself a few months ago. I got one that I could fit in my pocket. The old digital camera I had was just too cumbersome to take into the park easily.

I need to get myself a small camera that I can drop into my pocket not much bigger than my cellphone for taking pictures. So I'm open to suggestions.

It's not that his camera "can't" fit in his pocket, he just wants it a little more protected and secured than that.

Very nice quality pics Adam. What camera is that? I need a digital myself. (And don't care what people think if I have to wear a fanny pack :))

Pictures turned out pretty good Adam (even though I had no idea you were taking our pictures in the cabin). That small camera does a good job, I should get something like that since carrying around my SLR at a park is usually more trouble than it's worth.

For me, the Canon A570 or A710 seem like good bets. As far as I know, the only difference between those two models (beside about $70) are 4X vs 6X zoom. They're both full-featured and relatively small.

I have the Canon PowerShot A710, absolutely love it. I got it at just over $250 and it takes fantastic photos.

All these photos were taken with it... I did a bit of color correction and realignment in photoshop, but nothing to drastic.

Is it small? yes
Is it new? yes
Can it be eaten by Maverick? Yup!
Do I NOT want that to happen? yip!

I have a 7.1mp A550 Canon Powershot with 4X zoom. Although as of right noiw I only have a 16m media casrd. I'm getting a much larger one soon so I can take high quality pics.

Get a 2GB card. They can be found for around $20-$30, and hold well over 500 pics on my A570, which is 7MP. :)
