I think I need to ride it more than once to make a judgment on it.
We were two trains away from riding it a second time when it went down again. I guess I'll have to wait 'til next year to get a real idea of what the ride's like. All I can say for sure is that it was a short ride and pretty intense.
My first thought was that it isn't quite as intense of a launch as SR's but it lasts quite a bit longer.

Oh admit it, you loved it.:)
Wow what a great weekend. So many highlights, so little time. Whatever Josh M, BGRooDog, and Mark say is pretty much the same for me.
I was going to say something John but I forgot you were hanging out with Brian so I didnt want to make an idiot out of myself and ask who you were. But for what it's worth, it was great "meeting" you.:)
It was also funny watching you get ownd by Tony Ben.:)
I have some pics I'll post later.

It was great seeing everyone again. I did not know the city got hit so hard either until we were driving in sunday morning. Sandusky got hit harder than my town did (lorain). a small section of the cedar point sign (causeway) was down. It was a very wet weekend. I was glad to get the last (wet) ride on maverick that night. Hope to see some of you fine people during halloweekends.
Peace, Mikey
When we saw the storm coming we got back to LHP before it hit. Although we got a downpour and a few gusts on the tip of the peninsula, it sounds like just off point got the worst of it. The weather was so varied through the weekend. Cloudy and Windy Friday Night, followed by a downpour. The big storm followed by another Downpour Saturday Night, then a dreary, drizzly Sunday morning that turned into a gorgeous afternoon.
Despite all of the weather, looking back, this has to be one of my best weekends at the Point...
Oh, and Adam... sorry if Schuyler, Rob, and myself got too out of control Saturday night ;)
HEY B! :D

Well, it was great to see everyone again. I'm sorry we didn't get to hang out more.
I lost almost everyone's cell #'s due to the recent Windows Mobile upgrade, so you'll have to forgive me.
Hopefully I will see you guys on closing weekend, and we can share some food/good times/Pabst Blue Ribbon (lol).

Mikey,
I didn't know you were there, damn you, you shoulda said something!
Adam,
I made sure to let him know it was a "camera" and not a fanny pack. ;)
0g,
Yes, actually it was Adam, my girlfriend Jess, Schuyler and Mark. In all honesty, I swore last offseason that I was going to ride it this year and I didn't know if we'd be back again this year so I told myself I had to ride.
And yes, Josh M., a good time was had by all. Nevermind the Ross the intern comment. ;)

Then he'd look like he had a growth on his hip.
I think he just got that camera not too long ago and it's actually pretty nice.
Don't worry about it Adam, John is just trying to make you look like a freak so he doesn't feel so left out. ;)

Ha! That's a good one. I can honestly say I've never worn a fanny pack to Cedar Point. I don't even carry a camera any more. I keep it in my car in case I see something that requires photography. I'll carry my camera into the park if I plan to go in just to take pictures.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
