Joe Cool Weekend (Sept 7-9)

Not too excited to see rain forecasted all next weekend. :(

I'm wary to trust a forecast for the next day (I've seen them be wrong) much less one that's trying to "predict" what it'll be like in 5-7 days.

I guess you were right.. Intellicast already changed it since this morning, with rain holding off till Monday. As opposed to thunderstorms all weekend, like they were predicting this morning.

Unfortunately my best guess is that there will be rain this weekend. There is a chance that the moisture from Hurricane Henriette may get pulled towards the Great Lakes. Even if that doesn't happen, a cold front is scheduled to move through this weekend. I'm just hoping for scattered storms if anything. I've been looking forward to this weekend all season!

I will be at the sat event and maybe sunday. I will be wearing a white Wicked Twister t-shirt.

Adam, I think we will be fine. Im not saying it won't rain, but the lack of crowds due to the forecasted rain, should offset the time we will miss riding due to rain delays. Im hoping for a great weekend!

I will be at the Point on Saturday. My family of 2 adults and 7 kids just look for the mob down the midway. I would love to meet some of yall just dont think I would recognize anyone. Do you meet up at a certain place during the day?

Josh, is there anything else you might want me to bring for the weekend stay? Or are we just going to do some shopping in town.

I think we can just make a Meijer run for anything we need. The park is only open till 8 tomorrow night, so I figure we can go get stuff then, or even late tonight.

Im leaving for the park in 3 and a half hours! Hooray.

I've got 2.5 hours.

We brought hot dogs and buns and condiments. So we've got dinner type foods for Saturday night.

Josh will be there tonight, and I'm going to go straight to Bayshore to get checked in, I can just meet up with you at the park since you're heading for JCC time.

Anyone else notice that nothing ever gets accomplished on that last day before a vacation?

I'll be out the door in an hour or so, so take it easy out on those roads. Weather is blustery and grey out here in Detroit, but this type of weather just gets me excited, I don't know why. As long as the (potential) rain holds out until after Maverick ERT is over, I'll be happy. FYI, I'll be wearing the yellow Magnum shirt. Have a great day, everyone.

It's raining off & on in Toledo, but it looks pretty dry on the webcam.
