I think the whole chain is still very confused about what it's doing with season passes this year. The people at Knott's had no idea what was going on when I was there a few weeks ago. It took almost an hour to get into the park while they tried to figure things out. We actually opted for a second day at Magic Mountain rather than another day at Knott's (which was a mile from our hotel) just because we didn't want to deal with the season pass situation again.

There's no buy option under the All-Ohio Parking Pass anymore.

Sure looks like it's there to me.

You must be special because no one else has the buy option under the All-Ohio Parking Pass.

I would try clearing you cache possibly, 'cause it's not there.

Yes, the All Ohio Pass is listed, but there's no "Buy" button next to it.
And if you go to actually purchase a parking pass, the All Ohio Parking pass is no longer available to purchase on the online ticket site.

I emailed CP and am awaiting a reply....I hope I can still get it when I am ready to purchase it. I don't understand why they'd take the button away from the website....

The "Buy" button hasn't been on that page at all. It was only available on the deferred payment page for some reason. I'm assuming all you have to do to upgrade is just hand them $25 with your voucher come May 12.

so I will be able to get it still? I hope so...because I don't want to have to shell out an extra 20 for each trip to PKI

$20? It's only $10 for standard parking and $15 for premier parking.

20 for a 2 day trip...given the distance that KI is from NE Ohio I'd be staying overnight.

What about if you want to go to KI before May 12th? KI doesn't even have an All-Ohio Parking Pass for sale and theirs are on their passes. Will CP have people there when you process your season pass to give you your All-Ohio Pass or your extra pass for the second car?

Who knows? While I'm thrilled they are apparently changing their minds (hopefully chain-wide), they kinda need to be publicizing some important info...like information for those who want to buy the all-Ohio pass at a park other than CP.

You might be able to get the all-Ohio at KI...but I don't know that for sure.

No, you cannot purchase an All-Ohio Parking Pass from KI. At least not right now, they had no idea in the season pass office that there was such a thing.

Well if that isn't bass-akwards. Who would've thunk it? You can't buy an all-Ohio pass at one of the Ohio parks. Sheesh.

Awesome News!!!!

I just received an email back from John McClure at Cedarpoint in regards to a question about the All Ohio Pass. The parking pass WILL be on the ID card, and not a parking decal.

Here's what he stated in the email:

"We recently made the decision to upgrade our tollbooth and season pass systems for the 2007 season, and because of this, our parking passes will now all be going on the ID cards as well. There will be no vehicle decals."

Looks like all the complaining about the decals were heard after all!

Yeah, well, I sent in my cedar point parking voucher to upgrade to the all ohio pass, and got back the upgraded certificate. But that was a few weeks ago, so I emailed John back to see how to handle that situation, but I'm sure they'll take care of it.

I am really HAPPY now. I have my PARKING PASS Certificate at Home. I should be getting my 2007 SEASON PASS soon in the Mail. Sometime in April I'll take my SEASON PASS and the PARKING PASS Certificate and have them put the Prking Pass on My 2007 PASS too.
