Raptor closed on last day

Just read that raptor is closed today, wonder why.

It was closed all day yesterday as well. Don't know why. ;)

Yeah, because it rolled back! yeah, my favorite BM has turned into an Intamin....boo hoo. I have a pic on my phone but can't upload it to the computer...sorry guys

I'm not sure if it valleyed, but it usually closes to prevent it from valleying. The winds are to high to operate the ride.

Has an inverted B&M every valleyed??

I wish Cedar Point would give you more on the problem. Insted of "Its closed, so think about what could be the problem."

As far as I know, Raptor has valleyed on at least one occasion.

Yes, Raptor has rolled back numerous times. It doesn't run well in high wnds or if the winds are blowing in the right direction.

No Raptor opened at around 9pm last night..

Trust me, it valleyed, between the MCBR and the Cobra. And yes, it has happened atleast once before. Its cold and windy...

Maverick is the only coaster at CP that hasn't valleyed at one point in history, for obvious reasons.

Yeah, no Raptor today. It's randomly chilling out on the tracks after the cobra roll before the MCBR.

What does "valleyed" mean?? And is this the source of it's issues? If not what is wrong with it?

Valleyed means the train didn't make it past a certain part and stopped somewhere on the track.

Twister can't really valley, can she, as she's designed to go back and forth between spikes as is.
