"I also love kids, but what I really hate is parents waiting in line for a ride with little kids that they just let do whatever they feel. A couple days ago I saw a 3 or 4 year old swimming in a fountain with the parent two feet behind flirting with someone oblivious to their kid."
I want to add to that. Last week I was standing near the "snowball" fountain [near Raptor] and some girls came up to it, got handfulls of water and splashed it on their faces. Then they just walked away like nothing happened. I just stood there looking confused, do they think the fountain is their bathroom sink?! lol

This post is hilarious!! I pretty much agree with all these complaints, and they can all drive me on edge especially when it's 2:00 in the afternoon, 90 degrees, and the sun is bearing down on me.
The one thing that drives me insane, though, are girls dressed up like their going to a party or something. I was in line for Mean Steak last year, and these girls (probably about 16) were putting on lipstick, mascara, etc. And they were doing their hair. I wanted to say "Hello, do you realize you're about to go on a roller coaster?"
I'm all for looking decent, but when I go to Cedar Point, I wear something COMFORTABLE. Some of these girls look so warm and uncomfortable. Whatever happened to shorts, a t-shirt, and some tennis shoes?

About the fountain: I always laugh when I see people splashing that water on themselves -- do they know what has been in it? *Grin*
Something that REALLY annoys me from the employee perspective is how some people always think they are so original with their little gags. Like several people commented about people "marching along with the band": I HATE it when someone squats down when they go through the entrance to a ride and say in a stupid voice something like "I don't think I'm tall enough" or something like that. We hear that every day, over and over, and it isn't cute, it makes you look stupid. Have some courtesy for the people that work there and do see the stuff every day! Sheesh. Joking around is fine, just to have fun, but please.

The gum under the hand rails in the queue, People who don't wash there hands in the bathroom. People who think they know everything about CP, People Somking in line and in the park, people who walk in front of you when you're taking a group photo, 5 year old kid screaming on a coaster " I hate this".

that about sums up what I think too. You forgot to mention people who "forget" to put deodorant on. eeeeeew!!!! You can smell em every time you walk past them in a queue.

Sometimes my friends say the "I don't know if I'm tall enough" thing to be comical for the other friends we are with. They don't duck down, but we have to do something to keep ourselves entertained while standing in line.
Something else that bugs me at CP is: the kind of music that the DJ's can play. I know it's not the DJ's fault, and they should be able to play a wider range of music. Why target teenagers and young adults with the coasters CP builds and play something a 6th grader would listen to?
ENOUGH with the boy bands and Britney Spears, why can't we listen to Ozzy, Metallica, Megadeth, etc.? The songs don't cuss, but they still can't be played. WHAT'S UP WITH THAT?

As for the dorky kids saying that the kiddie rides are wimpy, someone in my group once said that and I'm like "if this is so wimpy why don't you go on Raptor" and he chickened out to go on the Corkscrew.
I also hate people who bang against the walls in the DT queue and SIT on the handrails(I just want to push those kids over!). That's my beef!!

The ride the kid said was wimpy was DT.
As for the batting gloves, those are the biker kids, and I see it all the time in my school!

iluvcp: I sit on the handrails at CP, but I only do it after 5 or 6 when my feet are in so much pain that I see that as my only option for SOME relief. NOBODY would have that problem if they were a sweeper at the point-walking around and sweeping just about all summer. You'd put a few miles on your feet every day.....

I also agree with everything on here...I though, would like to add about the bathrooms. I hate going into the bathrooms when theres no dividers in between urinals.

CP_Bound, I know there is at least one DJ at CP who agrees with you. I was in line for MF, and he was playing the latest Britney Spears song (I don’t know the title). Half was through the song, he cut in and said something like “This is the worst song ever written. I refuse to play any Britney or N’Sync for the next hour.” This announcement was loudly cheered by everyone in line.
