Things that drive me crazy @ CP:

LuvRaptor's avatar

The recording on Mantis' 1st hill that says
"Remain standing"

Magnums sign that says something like
"People of exceptional weight and children under 48" may not ride"
(so heavy people w/kids under 48" cant ride?)

The recording that plays over and over at Raptors queue where the guy pronounces Raptor "Rap-Tore"

I'll add some things to this list.

When the people waiting in front of you are talking about the coasters. And they say something Like "Did you know Magnum is sinking?!" i always have to correct them :)

Hhmmm... thats all i can think of right now.

That brings back a memory....I was standing in line for Magnum, and these dudes in front of me was telling his friend about Magnum, and he said "Oh the Magnum aint noting like Millennium Falcon"!!
I just laughed about how dumb they are!!

Yes - I wish all guests (or "GP" as they affectionately know around enthusiast circles) were Cedar Point gurus. Then none of 'us' would have to stoop to correct some poor 'loser' who doesn't know any better.

Let me add to the list of things that drive me crazy:

Cedar Point 'experts' who zealously correct and put down others for their lack of knowledge.

I worked there for 6 years and I visit frequently. So, I am thankful that I am able to visit Cedar Point anonymously. I'd hate to have someone recognize me as an enthusiast.

Walt along the same lines as you... The "CP Experts" who are anything but an expert.
I hope I don't start a flame war of anything, but what drives me crazy @ CP is people smoking in line. It's really bad in the Magnum queue, but it also happens often in the MF queue. One day, I was in line for MF, and there were people in front of me smoking, and finally we went past a security guard, and he made them put it out. Then, when they turned the corner, they lit right back up!
Smoking drives me up the wall too. Also, it's RAPTOR NOT RAPTURE! I don't know how many people I have heard say that!

"Your obssesed w/ that place aren't you?" (as stated by my best-friends about CP)
People who say did you ride THE Millennium Force or they just say "The Millennium." That's not the name of the ride, so don't call it that. That is one thing that bothers me at CP. That smoking thing really bothers me too, but I seem to remember a big conversation about this a while ago that essentially turned into a fight with nonsmokers vs. smokers, so I am not going to go there....

I often call it "the force." Let the flaming begin!
When I hear that a girls hair/scalp got ripped of on the Power Tower!

What irritates me is when you are standing in line in front of two guys who obviously have had too much beer and our talking constantly and very loudly and not making any sense at all (which is what happened to me while waiting 90 minutes for MF on Tuesday). And too make things worse, one of the guys was wearing incredibly stupid looking oversized glasses and hat.
All of these are pretty much in line, but the thing that really drives me crazy is when someone in my party says "I want/we need to leave!" and there is at least 3 hours left in my day at CP!

What irritates me? Well...

People who break rules (jump line, smoke in queue, etc.)
People who supposedly know everything, and make sure that everyone knows they do.
People who complain about waiting in line.

And lastly,
People who complain about "GP" and their habits.

You know, without the GP, there wouldn't even be a Cedar Point, so don't act like you're their god.

How dare you vanquish the Steel Phantom without his consent? Fear the Phantom's Revenge.
People smoking in line and line jumping are my major pet peeves. Personally, when I hear someone who doesn't know what they are talking about (as mentioned in prior posts) in line I think it is funny. Why stop them and tell them they are wrong? I think it makes for good entertainment during those long waits. Why try to embarass someone?? It is usually someone who is just fired up about riding and I think that is cool even if they are wrong.
"The Force" is fine with me. I just don't like "The Millenium."

Extremely over-weight guests that wear clothing they have no business wearing. Like a bikini top and spandex on a really large woman and her stomach is hanging out. Disgusting.

People making out in line is pretty annoying too. I don't mind a little kiss hear or there, but I really don't want to see 2 white trash hill-billys ramming their tongues down each other's throats.

Waiting in line when not all the trains are running kinda stinks too.

Ahhh...line jumpers. When I was in line for MF, 3 kids tried to jump line...when security carried them out, they got an ovation from the crowd. It was pretty funny.
