Things that drive me crazy @ CP:
"CP_Bound, I know there is at least one DJ at CP who agrees with you. I was in line for MF, and he was playing the latest Britney Spears song (I don’t know the title). Half was through the song, he cut in and said something like “This is the worst song ever written. I refuse to play any Britney or N’Sync for the next hour.” This announcement was loudly cheered by everyone in line."
Might be the same DJ for MF last Thursday night. He was like: "Just a reminder, please don't line jump. If we catch you doing it, everyone will be forced to listen to Britney Spears new song nonstop" The whole crowd booed on that one

Well..the things that drive me crazy at CP...well after the 9 different parks I have been to this summer...I would have to say the prices for food at CP drive me crazy now! I think the food quality has gone down..(everytime i get cheese fries lately they are ALWAYS under cooked) CP has to be one of the highest in food prices. And not the best food around anymore at parks. I'll leave that statement at that.

Fodd/drink prices are another thing that drive me crazy. I know I'm paying for good stuff, but I just can't stand sometimes paying $2 for a 20 oz bottle of pop when I could a 12 pack of of that same pop in cans at my local Giant Eagle for $2.99 when its on sale

OK, since I went to CP yesterday (8-17), I have to add a few more things.
To the guys (I have never seen a girl do this): Please do not spit upon the ground on which i will be walking in the next 10 seconds. While I was waiting for MF this man kept spitting. He did try to spit in places where people don't walk, but sometimes he didn't, and I was trying to be sure I didn't step in it.
Another little annoyance: It bugs me when people don't pay attention in line, and suddenly there's fifty feet between them and the next people in line. That's really doesn't p*ss me off a whole lot, but it just bugs me a little.
And I do agree with CP Twister, please don't stand so dang close to people in line. Five feet is a nice space. Yesterday, this girl's poncho kept hitting the back of my leg, and I am terribly ticklish, and it drove me crazy. So I kept crowding the people in front of me to keep away from the evil poncho.
Oh- and another thing. I saw a girl putting on makeup AGAIN!!! I can't remember what we were waiting for. But it was like 60 degrees and rainy outside - everyone (including myself) looked like crap!!!!
Ok even through all this, it never ruins my day at Cedar Point!!!! I just wanted to end on a good note :) *** This post was edited by CP girl on 8/18/2000. ***

A few thing drive me crazy about the dodgems,
1.everyone pressing the peddle down and making that clicking noise
2.the bumper car op taking his good ol' time checking everyone's belt.
I also cant stand seeing gum stuck to things. Like on Magnums station by those stairs,theres soo much gum stuck to the station wall and they all have coins stuck in them.

Being a person that take a lot of pictures at Cedar Point and many other parks here are some thing that annoy me.
#1 When people standing in-front of something I'm taking a picture of and then look and me like I'm some sort of weirdo that just to a pic ture of them. Hey guys the 310 foot tall blue thing behind you was what I was photographing.
#2 When people walk in front of you. ex. I have one picture that would have been perfect except for the fact that there is some kid's head right in front of the car.
#3 When you are trying to change flim in a store or something and some idiot bumps into you.

A cool thing about Monday in MF's line was that the DJ announced it to be official no Britney or boy bands night. Everybody cheered when he said this.
He also talked about song requests. "When requesting songs, I can't play music with objectional lyrics, like Korn, Limp Bizkit, Papa Roach, etc. etc., Britney Spears, Backstreet, Nsync."

Yesterday I was at the park... and for all you people complaining about the music... They played Ozzy in the Raptor queue... Not to my surprise, nobody cared (Me included, *not* an Ozzy fan..) The DJ followed up with "Okay, no response from that... how about this?" And followed up with Britney Spears "Lucky"... that got a few groans and boos.. but there were too many teenyboppers singing along for him to stop it, I guess.
But, your wish was answered.... they played Ozzy, and nobody cared. I think you guys need to think more about the music that they do play outside of just what YOU would like to hear. Think about it. You've got a million peeps running around the park with a million different personalities. CP has to try to please everyone all at the same time.. the best way to do that is going with the majority. Playing the top 40 stuff is smart, because it IS "Top" 40... majority rules. Don't get me wrong.. I was one of the ones groaning at Britney Spears.. but I was also groaning at Ozzy. But I'm not going into fits because they're not playing what *I* like. I give them credit for playing what *most* people like. Now I would go into fits if all they played was Ozzy.. ugh.. I'd rip my hair out. =P

1) People who stop in the middle of a major throughfare to look up at rides, namely the path from the Power Tower to the Corkscrew's corkscrew. (I know it's fun to watch, but step off the beaten path).
2) People who dress like their going to the club (this is even more of a problem in California).
3) Teenagers who think it's fun to scream obscenities while riding just because they can (grow up).

What am I tired of? People making fun of Britney Spears and *NSYNC. Give it a rest. So what, they don't play what you like. Big deal! If you don't like it, you don't have to wait in the line. And if all else fails, just don't pay attention to it. Make friends with the people around you. Most of the people here don't like pop music, but most of the *teenagers* who visit the park do. Now don't get me wrong, I don't really like *NSYNC, and I don't like hard rock either. If they played what I like there wouldn't be anyone in the queue at all, lol. Please just give it a rest.
