I would welcome the SS, along with a few other flats..Delerium

Delirium is maXair. It's the ride at Kings Island. They're both Huss frisbees.

Actually, HUSS makes a flat ride with the model name of Delirium. It looks quite interesting really. I don't have the time to look up the page, but it looks like a decent flat.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.

I would imagine whatever is replacing WWL will be for the 2007 season. I seem to recall Kinzel saying he planned to go out big when he retired.

Hopefully maybe Cedar Point will break records again, but maybe like 2 this time. We could break a record for having the tallest Water Coaster in The World or we could build a completely brand new modern Flume ride and make it the tallest of its kind. The second record breaker, I don't know I'll have to think about...lol.

There's the link to the Huss Delirium... it may have the same name as a certain PKI Frisbee... but, quite a different ride.

On the subject of Giant Huss rides... I really wouldn't mind seeing the entire Peanuts Playground area leveled and turned into a "Land Of The Giants" with maXair close-by. But, that's just me. ;)

Yet another (stupid) entry on the blog today.

It seems they are creating a realtionship between the SS and the wood - with more possibly on the way.

Why in the world are they now making a deal out of the wood, especially if it's just for CCMR? Well, hopefully it's for a new woodie. :)

Hell hath no fury like an enthusiast scorned.

They'd best be careful on how much they hype things up. If some big announcement involving more than the SS is on it's way, then hype away. Otherwise... don't make it look like more than what it is.

If you see a pile of this stuff, it could be for a roller coaster, but it could be for a restroom as well. Use caution when identifying this track.

That has to be boring ride. Plus it looks awful and probably takes up too much room for just a flat.

My thought is if this is a new wooden coaster, you would probably see more shipments come in by now. I mean that amount right there is enough to build 10 feet in hight. I hate to not be optimistic, but I think its just CCMR new wood.

About the wood...

What about the marina expansion they announced a while back? This could be nothing more than dock material. Or, as previsously mentioned, CCMR replacement wood.

I really doubt it's for anything much more exciting than that.

Well I thought it was obvious that Tony and Tyler know whats coming so I would not think they'd bother to create hype about something that the general public didn't really care about.

I think a good guess is that the wood will be used to theme the Screamin' Swing. Maybe they will make it look like a giant wooden swing so it will fit in with Frontier Town. Heck, they might even name the swing "Woodchuck".

When I was riding CCMR last night I looked closely at the wood on and this morning I looked at the pictures of the wood. The different sizes do correspond with different pieces of the CCMR supports. The larger pieces look similar to the wood that the track is supported to and the smaller pieces look like the rest of the wood.

That lumber may also be used for landscaping. Look around in frontiertown. You'll see a lot of it around the trees and bushes. My guess as to what will be done is this. I think they will build a new midway between the antique cars and WWL. I also see some of the shops in front of the train station being removed or modified. This will need to be done for increased traffic flow. It is also a possibilty that there may be some more shops built on this new midway. Then the new coaster can be built behind them on the WWL site. I still think the new flat ride will go on the midway between the antique cars and Mean Streak. of course this is just a half-baked theory of mine. I may be completely wrong. I guess we'll all just have to wait and see what really happens.

Why build more shops in the Frontier area when half of them are never opened?
