For as little activity that we will see during this construction, I'd have to say that smoke rolling out of a building followed by a fire truck and ambulance is something far more "exciting" than looking at a static picture of the ride's structure. So why make fun of something that was on the webcam if it's interesting and pertinent to the discussion?

Are they adding on to KiddieLand Refreshments, or are they just commandeering a portion of the building to house the mechanicals? What "refreshments" were sold from KLR?

For a fire, $1,000 in damage is not bad at all.

It would appear from a lack of new foundation that they're simply using half of the building. Honestly, I don't remember any actual service on that side of the building, only the little people counter on the other side.

PKI's structure is a lot bigger. As best I can tell, the building has to house the computer (a half-dozen racks, I think), at least one air compressor and I assume hydraulic pumps, unless those are fully contained in the pendulum hub.

I wasn't sure if they had to remove any kitchen area or if it was just a pop machine with some nachos/pretzels/warm-and-serve type stuff available for purchase.

Saved pictures of what Joe? The arm was raised into place, locked down with bolts. I am sure others watched it also, (me included) but found no need for the play by play.

Both sides of Kiddieland Refreshments had service Jeff. The side that is now for MaXair had hot dogs and some other stuff with a regular "big people" counter.

yeah I hate those offessive posts too...=D

Thanks, Pete. Did they remove the big people side then?

Another thing they could do is run the queue right past that window and sell concessions to the people waiting in line. That would be awesome.

Just wondering, where do they run all the wiring for the frisbee part of the ride?
