maXair Structure on site

CP updated the pictures with the construction that went on yesterday.

Did you notice in the second row 2nd to the left picture. Did you see the masssive scratch on the orange paint.

I think it's just snow.

Just curious, what happens if they do scratch something during construction? And another thing, there seems to be smoke coming out of the building to the left of the ride right now (3:59), and now there is a fire truck there.

Scratches happen on every project, since they have to move the pieces around so much. Before the ride opens they use touch up paint to cover these marks. There was a picture somewhere showing them doing this to Silver Bullet at KBF a few months before it opened.

From the TTD Tower cam, maXair is visible from there. Just thought I should mention that.

theres a fire truck outside of maXair right now

These touch-ups are very nearly invisible when the ride is new, however when the paint starts to fade it is then that they start to become noticeable. The best example of this is on MF's supports and track. You can see several touch-ups on the track that goes around the queue.

There's a firetruck visible on the webcam right now--I wonder what that's doing there...

maXairs arm has been bolted together for some time now just sittin there....i wonder if they'll put it up today...

I did see smoke from the building not to long ago.

I'm going for tomorrow for the arm. They stop right around 4 o'clock.

Was there a lot of smoke comming out of the building?

i saved a photo from the cam that shows an ambulance in the backround near the entrance for disaster transport.

and its still there.

can you give us a link to see the saved webcam, was the fire on DT or maXair?

I got nothing, i didnt even see a fire...

There was smoke coming out of the building to the left of maXair, the one with the blue tarp. Then a fire truck came, the smoke was gone, now no one is there anymore. It happened around 4 ish. I'm sure we'll hear about it soon enough.

It wasn't a lot of smoke. I assumed it was from the welding they were doing.

OMFG!!!!1111 was tehre a firetruck????!!111
