I know Facination (sp) is missed by many, but I love Johnny Rockets! Good food and good fun! And unfortunatley, not cheap.

Haha, the reason that "Warning" by Incubus was played so much was because it was my FAVORITE song this summer. Joe, our DJ really hooked us up, and when he saw us walking down to entrance or turnstyles, he played our favorite songs.

The same thing with Jimmy Eat World's "The Middle," it was a favorite of one of the other guys on the crew, so it got played a lot.

Magnum's DJ was the best, in my opinion.

deanne,Wickedmaintenance, everytime I hear these, I definitely think of the Mantis line from years back....My Sharona (The Knack), Tears of a Clown (Smokey Robinson), Bad Love (Eric Clapton), I'm outta here(Shania Twain), Breakfast At Tiffany's, Friends Themesong (I'll be there for you), I Feel Lucky Today(can't remember the country artist). There was a rotation of about 14 different songs. Ah, memories....

I often think of CP when I hear My Sharona. Also, when I hear Love Shack, I think of The Coaster's Drive In resturant.

Magnum Force, you're right about that. Will it ever change, that's the question.

A couple for me:

Heading Out To The Highway - Judas Priest
Wheel In The Sky - Journey
Kickstart My Heart - Motley Crue
Paradise City _ Guns 'n Roses

And for my evil side:

"I've got somethin' to say
I killed your baby today and it
Doesn't matter much to me
As long as it's dead"
"Last Caress - The Misfits"

(Usually sung mentally when some little lot lice in line has bumped into us/fell off the handrails into us/been obnoxious/line-jumped. Sorry parents, more of you should be Pro-Death instead of Pro-Life.)

Love shack was embedded into our minds by CP, but we can't forget Funkytown. My favorite was hearing Crazytrain last year waiting for Magnum. It shows midway music doesn't need synthesizers.

Whip It, by De(E?)vo. First time I went to CP, I heard it waiting in line for Mean Streak. I remember the DJ too. DJ Marcus or something. My cousin kept calling him Marcus DJ Funky Funky Shiat.
