Many come to my mind.
"Ready to Go" is an obvious one that reminds me of TTD. "Hella Good" by No Doubt reminds me of the MF line, since for some reason that song always plays when I'm in line for it. The song from Friends reminds me of the Mantis line, as does any song from 1996 lol. Finally, that Motown song "Can't Hurry Love" reminds me of the Main Midway since I would also always hear that song playing while walking through the park.
Cedar Point rocks my socks.
It depends on my mood.
There are times that I hear, "Take This Job and Shove It" and it reminds me of Cedar Point.
And, there are times when I hear more peppy songs that remind me of the Point.
"You can dream, create, design and build the most wonderful place in the world...but it requires people to make the dreams a reality."
-Walt Disney
On the way to CP I listened to my Story of the Year cd so now when I hear that I think of CP, especially "Sidewalks"
Back in my teens when the line for Raptor was always an hour and a half, at night they would have the DJ and we would always hit that before leaving the park. It must have been 95 or 96 when the Macarena was the "thing" and I remember doing that through the whole line to the station. Everytime I hear that song I think of CP and Raptor....
If I ever hear ymca again, someone is going to get hurt.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Ah yes, the Summer of '96. When every other song played on the radio was the Macarena. That song always pops in my head whenever I think of that summer! :)

I know there are other posts but i cant find them. Im going to florida and would like to know some of the songs played in Johny Rockets. Any help, i would greatly appreciate it.
Come check out the videos at www.extremepki.com
I can't think of any off the top of my head by hearing what you guys are saying is giving me goosebumps and a big ol grin on my face.
Any Body rember the song called Miss Independent by Kelly Clarkson that was played every 15 minutes in Magnum's line durring the 2003 season?
For me I can Listen to Korn, Disturbed, or Eminem which are not in any way related to any of my Cedar Point trips and be reminded of standing in line of Millennium Force or being in the staging area of Top Thrill Dragster or being at the top of Millennium Force or Magnum. Another thing is when I listen to a certant cd when I fall asleep I haven't figured it out I Dream Cedar Point is enclosed and every thing is rigged to fail. It's weird because if I don't listen to that cd I wont have that dream.
Yeah new year, and finally got my license, well back in august. Im in need of a trip to the park.
For me, the big one I remember best from my first ever visit to Cedar Point in 1999 was Destiny's Child's "Bills, Bills, Bills" They played it in the Magnum line at night, and man, let me tell you, than line was just full of energy. The line itself was completley full from what I remember, and easily the most energized line ive ever been a part of. Even the MF line dosent come close to how awsome that packed Magnum line was in 1999.
Another song, this one reminds me more of Millennium Force, is "Drive all night" by Celion Dion. I think it might have been a sort of techno remix, im not sure though. I always seem to hear that one in line for MF.
Beach Boys: Surf Safari- That song plays in TTD's line all the time! :o) Everytime I hear it, I get excited!
..::Top Thrill Chazter::..
..::Class Of 2006::..
"Little old lady from Passadena" by the beach boys playing in the Challenege Park and many songs mentioned above.
"Hit Me With Your Best Shot," always reminds me of the days when Corral needed help and they would send the extra people from Skyride or Surrey over. Everytime I'd go over I'd hear that song, when I was back slicing the pizza.
SkyRide Refreshments 1999
Surrey 1999
Amber by 311 in the line of Millenium Force two years ago, the DJ guy played it. I think of Cedar Point everytime I hear it.
Whenever I hear the Lowes commercial it reminds me of Cedar Point. LoL. After my first year being there they played that whole line up of coaster shows on the Discovery channel...including The World's Largest Amusement Park CEDAR POINT!!
I taped all of the specials and watched it over and over and over again...as I still do (I did today). Well they play that commercial every break so it reminds me of CP.
Drops of Jupiter by Train used to remind me a lot of Cedar Point, because I heard it all the time before, during, and after my first trip there.
The one song that will always remind me of CP though is Emotions by Destiny's Child. We went there for Halloweekends a couple years back when that song was popular...and it came on a whole lotta times on the way there. I love that song because it gives me all of the same feelings I get at the park.

"You wanna, you gotta, you hafta hold on, Cedar Point...HOLD ON!"
Wow..i must be showing my age here,but i haven't seen any mention of Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass and Frontiertown. I remember back in '89 (and a few years after) coming to the Point on opening day,and sitting in the rain in front of the saloon...the park was pretty much deserted and Herb was blaring out of the speakers. I haven't heard any tijuana brass there in a few years..oh well..sigh. "The lonely bull" will always remind me of CP. Just thought i'd chime in...:)
