For those on Mean Streak and all the other Intamin rides like my Thunder Canyon...when did people start needing doctorates from MIT to figure out the freakin' seat belt, THAT is my worst guest experience...why is it SO hard for some people, make that one to two people a raft. Also getting called a racist mother**** yesterday was lots of fun when making someone move for line jumping 500 people. Sometimes I think I should be paid more.

Nate, as a guest in line I always appreciate when "you" bust people for line jumping. It amazes me that "line jumpers" are typically shocked and surprised that what they are doing is wrong. Respect should be taught when we are young and still too small to ride rides. You may have been called a racist, but I like to think you were giving a little lesson in morality.
Hey Evan, tell your family that when TC closes this fall, I may be closing down paddlewheel in October, maybe the last two weekends, honestly, i miss it sometimes, i never dealt with angry, volatile guests on paddlewheel. To Jin, thanks for the comment, you make up the 99 percent of guests that make me enjoy my job, its just that one, and anyone that works here will say the same thing. Oh and I learned a new one today from a guy I know, don't ever tell a guest this "Thats a good example your setting for your child." People don't like that :) I guess I just got bothered because I don't get it, I don't have kids, but my parents would never let me go into harms way, and these people are just willing to let there kids possibly get injured or even die, why do I have to spell that out for them. "Hi sir, sorry there too short." "Thats BS" "Do you want white or red roses at the funeral"--Now I've never said anything like that, but these a**hole parents have no regard for there childs life, its basically the same if they let them play in traffic. There not even Cedar Points rules, its Ohio's state laws, I just enforce them...I'm sure any other person from a ride knows exactly what I'm talking about, our turnstile can be downright hideous sometimes.

Nate,

You guys do a great job and that goes unsaid way to much! Most don't realize how much crap CP employees have to put up with and then smile for the next rider.

Some parents should have never had kids. Then they wouldn't be parents!

i dont work at cedar point..but im gonna put this in here just because...i dono..hah..but i'd have to say while waiting in the MF que line..last weekend (july 4th) this guy named joe ( yes we managed to get his name ) kept blowing up one of those plastic $1 CP bags and hitting me with it..and he was freaking me out bad..he would walk through line with it on his head..and he would jump out and scare me...at the end of the 20 minute rude and unusal punishment period..he just gave me the bag..needless to say i had to throw it away because i wasn't about to sit on it..it was pretty frightning though..

This has to be said:Some guests are just way too stupid.
It sounds like you guys would appreciate the Tom Griswold theory on idiots. "Just one bullet"

Fairwell Dan!

I hate people sometimes. Nate I can feel your pain. We get a lot of crap because their child who rode Iron Dragon can't ride the swings. I've had people ask me if the child can sit on their lap! Stupid sad people.

Im not an employee, but this was a funny comment I heard from my bus driver on the way to CP. I had mentioned how WT had been down lately and he said, "yea you know when the coasters are down when they arent showing much of them in the advertisements." Lol im sure CP makes its advertisements daily!

I don't work there but last night i was in line behind one and he was talking to one of his friends who was working and he told him this. I didn't get the whole story so i'll try my best. Anyways, this man had a giant stuffed prize of some sort and he was told that he could not take it on Millenium Force. Yadda Yadda you know the drill. So this guy sticks it in a trash can and gets in line. A little later the worker catches that guy getting the stuffed thing out of the trash. So hes walking over to the him and the man sees him and makes a run for it with his stuffed animal. So the worker is now running after the guy through the grass trying to tackle him or something and the guy ducks into the line somewhere and the worker can't find him. Thought that was kind of funny that the guy wanted the damn prize so much.
