OH, isn't that a chemical compound or something??? Gee, what does Chemistry have to do with Cedar Point? You Buckeyes are so funny. ;)
Hail to the Victors
Tigers were one of the worst teams in history of Major League Baseball just two years ago. They are now in the World Series. Note they just won 7 playoff games in a row.
I can't believe so many people love baseball around Detroit. It just took a good home team to get them to show their love. :)

No, they only won 7 games in a row. Game 1 against the Yankees was a loss. Then it was three wins against NY and four against Oakland. Still, it's a franchise record to have won 7 in a row in the postseason.
I wish I could say I was a better fan in the last 20+ years. I think I made myself forget they existed for the last ten. It wouldn't have taken a trip to the World Series to get me interested in them again, just a good year. Regardless, this is the most excited I've ever been about baseball.
I am rooting for the team from the NL. And go OSU we will be undefeated and win the National Championship.

Ouch. Prepare to suffer double dissapointments.
Hail to the Victors
When its considered a good outing for a pitcher to go 5 2/3 with 5 runs on 9 hits, you know its going to be a bad 4 games for the NL team.
Thankfully for them, it won't last any longer than that.

Being one who remembers the '68 World Series where the Tigers beat the Cardinals, I'm rooting for the Cardinals to win the NL. I'll be at CP on Saturday as well and am glad they are broadcasting the game.
In '68, I'd made a huge sign of a tiger head with cardinal feathers in his mouth. We lived a mile from the airport off one of the main drags, so I stood by the side of the road with my sign as traffic was backed up trying to get to the airport to greet the winning team.
Some fellow offered me $50 for that sign, and being a silly 14 year old, I just gave it to him (minus the broomstick handle I'd nailed it to).
I'd rather die living than live like I'm dead

And those of us who are Michigan fans will have a National Championship and perfect season to celebrate again the first week of January. :)
Us OSU fans just know that not going to happen, that's because everyone knows that Loyd Carr (aka Loyd Cooper) is Tressel's personnal whipping boy. The other reason is that Troy Smith will settle once and for all that he is the Heisman winner. Of course Michgan will also make the mistake of kicking and punting to Ted Ginn Jr and have run back on them, just like MSU did this past Saturday.

Glad to see you OSU boys pay attention in English class.

Go tigers!!!!!!!!!!!
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I'm not a baseball fan, but if the Detroit Tigers are in the series, I'm a fan of theirs :)
Wow I Have Never Seen A City Like Detroit Jump On A Band Wagon This Fast Ever. This Just Shows You How Many Front Running Fans There Are In Detroit.

Whats the problem with being a fan of your hometown team, even if you don't follow every pitch of every game played by every other team?

My thoughts exactly. The hard part of the post season was the Yankees for the Tigers. (We can forget about KC, right?)
