The OSU Days Ive attended to the in past were a lot of fun and the park wasn't overly crowded. And yes, Ive even seen a couple of Michigan shirts being worn. Cedar Point welcomes all. OSU Day might be a good time for the entitled enthusiasts to attend.

I find the discussion & folks surprise at the size of the laundry operations kind of entertaining! As someone who’d sometimes go through 3 uniforms in a day, I knew well how big that operation is! The folks there got to know me so well that they just quit asking why I’d need yet ANOTHER uniform!
I’d often have my first manager uniform soaked in sweat before noon from setting up catering gigs. I’d get a clean uniform before service. At least once a week I’d carve steamship round in the Coral Dining Room and need chef whites for that gig.

While I am 100% on board for gay rights, in NO WAY was the Civil Rights Act of 1964 intended by the authors of the act, congress, or anyone else to ensure gay rights in the workplace. Talk about activist judges, that is one convoluted reading of the purpose of the act.
Pass a law on its own merits, it's about time.
I'm still not sure why Obama didn't push gay rights legislation when he had the chance. Now that the evangelicals found their voice it's a tough road.
The American system of government isn't static, it's intended to evolve in response to changes in social mores, opinions, shifts in population and so on. Congress probably did not consider gay rights. But society has changes since then, and will continue to do so.
References to activist judges always make me cringe. Judges listen to both sides, check existing case law and render a decision. Are there judges who abuse their authority? Sure. But far more often, complaints of activist judges come from the losers.
As noted, Obama did pretty well on LGBTQ issues. Worth bearing in mind that he faced a Republican party in Congress with the stated goal, by Mitch McConnell, of doing whatever was necessary to make Obama a one term president.

Does it seriously make you make feel more whole to try and turn multiple threads into political temper tantrums? It might be more thoughtful and productive to start a thread specifically for the aforementioned topic.
In order to allow those so concerned to easily focus their thoughts and opinions.
I realize that someone tried to start you a thread for this not long ago, maybe it was a good idea.
