I don’t get it, so now we have to call it “Hashtag Steel Vengeance”? That’s kind of weird not to mention longer than necessary.

I am sure a nickname for the ride will stick, Millie, Maggie, etc.....

Something will stick, it always does.

Do people actually go around and say “Let’s ride Maggie”? Or are those nicknames just for texting purposes. Because I can see them being taken the wrong way...

In all my visits to CP I have never heard anybody call it "Maggie". What's the point in it, Maggie & Magnum are both two syllable words so it just sounds like someone is trying to be extra "cute". As for the potential for being borderline offensive, I think "MF" certainly fits that category.

A good nickname just happens, when they are forced it doesn't work for me. Base ball has a history of great nicknames. How about The Bogalusa Bomber Charlie Spikes, former team mate of the late Oscar Gamble.

I loved the Bogalusa Bomber nickname for Spikes. Whenever he came up and they called him by his nickname on the radio, you just felt like he will hit a home run.

Just a quick reminder for anyone out there who may have had a change of plans for February 23 and is sitting on any WCO tickets they no longer want, there are several of us here who would be happy to take those tickets off your hands.

Since this is my first WCO, does anyone know if Cedar Point will be selling any new merchandise, primarily Steel Vengeance clothing.

I doubt it, but it would be nice to get a couple of new things before the park opens.

I was a little disappointed that Cedar Point only had 1 offering of merchandise related to the Steel Vengeance for 2018.

I thought they would have come out with a few more items as the season progressed into Halloweekends.

Don't count on it. You may get a Steel Vengeance something in the goody bag, but there will likely be nothing for sale.

I don't believe they've done any merchandise selling during Winter Chill Out. In the past they've given out goodies...hope they continue to do that.

^ They were selling nanocoasters last year.

The only thing I have seen sold are the mini coaster replicas, which I have purchased at WCO, and were only available at lunch.

Now that you say that, I think they did sell those in 2016 too....but eh, not worth the $ imo.

I was really hoping to go to WCO, but I couldn't get work scheduled off. What do I do with the tickets? I've asked a few people and they said sell them, but I'm positive that I can't sell them.

Yes you can sell them. I'd be willing to buy them from you, as would a few others on here. Send me a PM.

If I had tickets to unload I’d ask the recipient to show proof of a like donation to the charity.

I recommend selling them to the first bidder at midnight. And if you do, let me know so I can grab my popcorn.

Contact Tony Clark or someone in the park....It'd be better to have an official word from them vs. some random person on the internet telling you what you should do. They may also have a list of folks that you could sell to.
